  1. This is a pretty standard bulky offense team that was built to use Terrakion. Scizor, Landorus-T and Rotom-W provide a core of bulky pivots, often able to switch around between themselves racking up chip damage until an opportunity presents itself. Terrakion provides the raw wallsmashing power that so few teams are prepared for (what's a rock resist?), Latias defogs and can drop Dracos when needed, and Talonflame provides a late-game win condition, priority, and some more special bulk to the team.
  2.
  3. Terrakion @ Choice Band
  4. Ability: Justified
  5. EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
  6. Jolly Nature
  7. - Stone Edge
  8. - Close Combat
  9. - Iron Head
  10. - Quick Attack
  11.
  12. Pretty standard set. STABs destroy most switchins, Iron Head is for when you need to get Stone Edge damage on Clef without missing, and Quick Attack allows Terrakion to clean up very weakened mons late-game.
  13.
  14. Landorus-Therian @ Leftovers
  15. Ability: Intimidate
  16. EVs: 248 HP / 240 Def / 8 SpD / 12 Spe
  17. Impish Nature
  18. IVs: 30 Atk / 30 Def
  19. - Stealth Rock
  20. - Earthquake
  21. - Hidden Power [Ice]
  22. - U-turn
  23.
  24. Lando-T is the team's Stealth Rocker and an integral part of the team's pivot core. Hidden Power Ice was chosen to lure in and wear down opposing Lando, who Terrakion appreciates being weakened. EVs are to creep other Lando running 8 speed investment, which while kind of outdated, is useful on ladder against the people who are still running them.
  25.
  26. Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
  27. Ability: Levitate
  28. EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe
  29. Bold Nature
  30. IVs: 0 Atk
  31. - Volt Switch
  32. - Hydro Pump
  33. - Will-O-Wisp
  34. - Pain Split
  35.
  36. This is about as standard as Rotom-Wash sets can get. Everyone knows what this mon does by now, right?
  37.
  38. Scizor-Mega @ Scizorite
  39. Ability: Light Metal
  40. EVs: 248 HP / 16 Atk / 44 Def / 200 SpD
  41. Impish Nature
  42. - Swords Dance
  43. - Bullet Punch
  44. - Roost
  45. - U-turn
  46.
  47. This is the standard bulky SD Scizor set. It provides a bulky pivot in the early game, being able to leverage its typing to switch into a lot of attacks that the team doesn't particularly enjoy taking. It can also clean up late-game if it gets a Swords Dance off.
  48.
  49. Latias @ Life Orb
  50. Ability: Levitate
  51. EVs: 72 HP / 184 SpA / 252 Spe
  52. Timid Nature
  53. IVs: 0 Atk
  54. - Draco Meteor
  55. - Psyshock
  56. - Roost
  57. - Defog
  58.
  59. Latias was chosen on this team because the team needs Defog, as well as a way to deal with offensive electrics. Latias in particular was chosen over Latios, and is using these EVs, because the team would otherwise lack much of any answer to Thundurus. This is the standard set with STABs, Defog, and Roost for longevity.
  60.
  61. Talonflame
  62. Ability: Gale Wings
  63. EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpD / 8 Spe
  64. Careful Nature
  65. - Acrobatics
  66. - Roost
  67. - Bulk Up
  68. - Will-O-Wisp
  69.
  70. Talonflame is the mon that drives this team home against a large number of opponents. Once the bird check is weakened, Bulk Up Talon can set up on a surprising amount of the metagame, even being able to use Wisp to hax its way past mons like Lando-T at times.
  71.
  72. Threatlist:
  73. Yeah, this team sucks versus Stall. BU Taunt Talon is probably worth testing for this.
  74. Mixed Thundurus tears absolute holes in this team, being able to smash past Latias and hammer the rest of the team hard with its BoltBeam combo.
  75. Slowbro is pretty annoying, and Mega Slowbro is pretty much a gamewinner if it gets a Calm Mind up.
