Stupid, stupid, STUPID! Here you are, finally on a date with that shy, long-haired boy you've been crushing on for months, and THAT'S the best you can do? God, he's going to hate you now. He'll probably never speak to you again, and-

"Wait, really? Uh, why?"

"Um. I've, uh, never been on a date before."

Your eyes widen a little at that. When Kris hesitantly accepted your request to take him out to dinner, you figured he was doing it out of pity. He... he really wanted his first date to be with YOU?

The shock eases your anxiety a little.

"I'm... I'm surprised, Kris. You're, uh... really cute, and friendly, and... God, this is dumb, but... you're comforting to be around."

Oh dear Lord, he's smiling. Kris is smiling. This is not a drill!

"Ha ha... thank you, Anon. I think I feel the same way about you."

There's no way this is happening right now. Kris couldn't have said what he just said... right? This must be some incredible, beautiful dream.

"Kris, I, um... I don't, uh, know what to say. I mean... I'm speechless."

He giggles again.
