7 - Sellbacks in Team Tournaments

These guidelines on selling back players (known as sellbacks) in team tournaments only apply to team tournaments where there are no rules laid out on the issue before the tournament begins.

A player may be sold back only if
- that player is tournament banned,
- that player is site banned for the duration of the tournament or longer, or
- that player is caught ghosting by their own team's manager or players.

The team should be given minimal compensation in the first two instances (for example, the minimum price to purchase a player in a midseason auction), and fair compensation in the latter (e.g. how much the player was purchased for in an auction).

A team should only be instead permitted to pick up another player from a pool of signups if there are no future instances in that iteration of a tournament for a team to acquire a new player.
