Don Diego divested himself of his embroidered dressing gown and his other apparel, and dressed as Señor Zorro always dressed, putting on thin black gloves and his black mask as a finishing touch. From a peg in the wall he took down the sword of Zorro, an excellent blade, but a bit heavier than a rapier, and buckled it on.
