  4.
  5. Reynolds: "CMDR Julian McCoy, it's so good to see you again! Your fame around here has reached staggering heights."
  6.
  7. McCoy: "Ms. Reynolds, it's good to speak to you again - but unfortunately i'm here on business."
  8.
  9. *A pause.*
  10.
  11. McCoy: "What do you know of Raxxla?"
  12.
  13. *Reynolds pulls McCoy roughly (by the shoulder and scruff of the neck) into her office and slams the door shut.*
  14.
  15. Reynolds: "You should know better than to say that name in public around here, McCoy."
  16.
  17. *She lets go rather abruptly, after sitting him down (more like slamming him down) on her desk, sitting on her own comfortable-looking office chair.*
  18.
  19. McCoy: "Easy on the gold, grabby! Christ... You know I wouldn't use that word unless it was important, i've been doing some snooping around."
  20.
  21. *He straightens himself up, brushing some invisible dust off of his usual sparkling gold flight suit, turning to face her.*
  22.
  23. Reynolds: "You've been... Last time you came here and spoke to Councillor Bean I should've known that something was up. You'd never mingle with us here at The Dark Wheel unless you suspected... Or, you're just as paranoid as your usual self."
  24.
  25. McCoy: "We've only ever met once before this, how do you know 'my usual self?'"
  26.
  27. *She moves over to a HoloFac terminal on the wall, and waves her hand over it, apparently having full access to McCoy's flight records and medical profile.*
  28.
  29. Reynolds: "You really think I didn't have someone monitor you? I mean, your psychological profile is astounding; I'm frankly amazed you even got a license with the Pilot's Federation."
  30.
  31. *He waves his hand at her, metaphorically brushing her off.*
  32.
  33. McCoy: "I hope that's just a hobby of yours, and i'm not under surveillance."
  34.
  35. *She chuckles, sliding her chair back over to the desk.*
  36.
  37. Reynolds: "Of course not, you're not important enough to warrant /our/ attention - yet - anyway."
  38.
  39. *McCoy huffs, still apparently lying flat on his back /on her desk/, one knee bent upwards and his other leg straight out. He looks like his pride (and/or ego) has just been severely bruised by her words.*
  40.
  41. McCoy: "What do you mean not important enough? Do you know who I am? Wait, of course you do, nevermind, anyway... I asked you a question, what do you know of Raxxla?"
  42.
  43. *Reynolds' smile turns into a light frown, and she appears mildly frustrated with his persistence, before releasing a sarcastic sigh.*
  44.
  45. Reynolds: "Let me think... The door that is also a key? The place that is not a place? The myth? Oh but i'm sure you already know that, you /have/ been digging into every available record concerning it, haven't you? Even some of the 'unavailable' ones I hear. You even had the audacity to try and obtain a Sap Eight Core Container, probably planning to steal one from me."
  46.
  47. *He sighs with annoyance, and slight relief that he isn't going to have to steal anything.*
  48.
  49. McCoy: "Oh well... I mean, you can't blame me? I tried to get hold of one through proper channels, but it's impossible. There's simply nobody able or willing to source on-"
  50.
  51. *Reynolds uses the opportunity while he's distracted, staring at and talking to the ceiling, to give a resounding shove to his side, pushing him into a roll straight off her desk. She frowns a little and peaks over the top as he flops onto the floor harder than expected (and face first) looking a touch concerned.*
  52.
  53. Reynolds: "McCoy, are you alright?"
  54.
  55. McCoy: "I'm fine... But you could've just asked."
  56.
  57. *He climbs off the floor, straightening his glasses, before sitting on the chair opposite hers.*
  58.
  59. Reynolds: "It's awfully rude to lie on someone else's desk, if I don't teach you some manners you're going to get yourself killed."
  60. (Read: "That's payback for planning to steal one of my shipments, bitch.")
  61.
  62. McCoy: "Me? Get myself killed? Why on Earth would anybody want to do that?"
  63.
  64. *She facepalms with both hands for a few seconds before looking back up, and suddenly bursting into laughter. McCoy seems bewildered at first, before emitting a light chuckle.*
