[18:25] The Astor briefly thought on what a cheesy belly was. Instead, she'd torn from her daydreaming by Waylan, and so she turns to him.

"Hello there, Waylan. You're due for a lesson on the stars, aren't you?" She asked now, glad to have something else to do other than watching children argue.

[18:26] The young lad nods with a smile it's been a long time, but he was ready to attempt.

"I am! Whenever you're free I'll be ready to learn."

[18:27] The Astor nodded and motioned for the young boy to follow her.

"Very well; follow me then." She said. She'd aim to make her way off.

[18:30] Thusly, she led Waylan to the same little hill that Alexander had led her to, in order to offer her the Astor's very first lesson in cosmic magic. She'd regard the young Joyau curiously before finally deigning to speak.

"Tell me what you know of the stars, Waylan." Anastasia beckons, wishing to hear everything of what he knew.

[18:33] It's been a very long time since he practice this with his Mother; hopefully he remembers some key points. The most important first would likely be a better start.

"Mother told me that each start means something different. She said one star would be my best friend and the others would just be close friends."

[18:48] Anastasia nodded along to the child's words now, opting to continue.

"The Astor family is blessed by the stars of the yellow branch. We're all gifted upon birth with an innate connection it - gifted to us from angels themselves. Yet even we must be studious in our endeavors to understand the cosmos. Even the Pelleaux, and the Grimmore as well." She explained patiently. She gestured to the ground now.

"How I learnt, from my brother, was through prayer and meditation. Everyone is different however - so if it does not work for you, don't give up hope. However I'd like for you to start with that. So go ahead and take a seat, Waylan, upon the ground, and place your hands on your knees." She indicated, waiting for him to do so.

[18:54] He wasn't sure if Mother went over this with him, but due to his age he likely missed it. This refresher lesson would be what he needed to help him get back on top!

"It sounds really special; I don't remember which star mother was bound to. I don't know if anyone remembers, but I'll figure it out."

He does as instructed and crossed his legs to enter a meditative position. He placed his hands upon his knees, looking towards Anastasia for approve.

"H-how am I doing?"

[19:00] "Biblos and Ios." She explained calmly with a nod in response to Waylan's statement about his mother's star. But that didn't necessarily mean that children followed in their parents' footsteps. Serea's star was Leo - and her's was Alph.

A difference.

As Waylan sat down upon the ground and placed his hands upon his knees she'd offer a nod.

"Good. Now - close your eyes, or look up to the sky. We're at a high point up here on the mountain so the stars will be easier to reach. Envision the star and start using your magic to call out to it. Find what works for you and what you're comfortable with. Take your time." She said calmly, giving the stage to the young Joyau.

[19:08] Well, she answer his question swiftly though it felt him with the next task. She wanted him to envision the stars before him? he thought it was a little silly, but with his mother taught him and his affinity towards cosmic.

Waylan should be able to project even the smallest piece of this imagine within his mind. As instructed he'd close his eyes and began focusing on the different star, trying to envision them his own way.

He wouldn't dare speak while trying something that require all of his attention.

[19:11] So thusly - for the time being, it's up to Waylan to decipher and call out to the cosmos above. And it was Anastasia's duty to merely stand guard and watch. She offers no further input, no hints, no help.

This was something that was entirely up to him, and him alone. She had given him the map - he had to figure it out.

The Knight crosses her arms, standing there upon the hill with a brief glance up skyward. She felt safe upon this hill and she couldn't quite understand why but eventually her eyes did shut.

22:45] Disappointing... he passed out during his lesson mother was be upset with him. He couldn't stay awake long enough to complete finish what he was being taught.

He felt like he wasted their time and like they'd never want to help him again. He finally come from his meditative position yet held a sad look on his face.

He needed to face to music and ask for their forgiveness at least to show respect for them helping. He owned them quite a bit and he paid them back with sleep.

This was truly something tragic, he'd hurry off to find here if he could,

[03:04] Waylan crossed his legs like before and placed his hands on his knees. He needed to practice more with his meditation if he wanted to continue his mother legacy.

He needed to learn holy and cosmic mage, both are quite powerful in terms of magic potential. He didn't want to let her down, not he couldn't let her down.. she died so he could have this life.

He closed his eyes and attempted to focus on the stars.

[15:46] As this hands rested upon his knees he though back to what was said to him. The star his mother bounded with was known at Biblos, but he didn't truly know the meaning of the star. While it was true he wanted to following in his mothers footsteps, would he also connect with the same star?

Meditation wasn't really easy when there are so many different question and answers he needed. He'd take a deep breath, falling back on the grass rubbing his head.

"I need a little more help."

[15:55] Waylan attempted to gather more information; however, it didn't pan out the way he expected it to. He taps his fingers along his cheek more-so thinking about what his mother taught him growing up.

Grated his might not remember everything, but he knows there are three different branches of stars. He'd need to find a book on the faith to get the names and what they mean.

This would help him with meditation, being able to focus on one star and then the rest after. He didn't want to tire himself without having the proper answers.

[16:14] Was in the middle of trying to clear his mind and focusing on his meditation. He began recalling bits and pieces of what his mother said during his upbringing, but it was still a little vague.

He needed to keep hi emotions in check even know trying to process his mother was gone 'hurt' though he couldn't allow this hurt to push on.

He needed to look past that hurt and find the answer he was looking for, but that was part of this training process.

[16:35] For now he was content was the amount of progress made, but he'd needed to more information from an older person. He couldn't continue unless he was complete sure he was traveling down the correct path.

It was around mid-day and people we're resting, he couldn't rush them. Truthfully he wasn't in a rush himself, but learning would take him a while.

If he truly aimed to be like his mother then he couldn't afford to miss a beat. He needed to on top of his game or he'd fall behind.

He wanted to make her proud.

[18:09] The yellow stars? Young Waylan was certainly taking his Mother's path. There's a smile that greets, though it does fade away soon after as the Astor returned to her formal nature.

"Of course. The yellow stars themselves comprise the body of the constellation of Leonaus." She explained dryly. "There is Leo, the Brightest Star, from the House of Leadership, said to instill and promote leadership. It's the one my Mother was attuned to." She added with a nod before continuing.

"Next, there is Geist, the Moving Star, from the House of Visions. It's, as you expect, likely to promote visions themselves. Then there is Alph, my own patron. It is the Center Star, from the House of Judgement and from it we draw charisma forth." There's a pause, giving the young Joyau plenty of time to jot it down within that notebook of his before she continued.

"After that is Lyzel, The tail, from the House of Movement. It is said to promote efficiency. Then there is Phos, the Pinned Star, from the House of Determination, said to promote firmness..." There's a pause, once more offering the boy time to catch up with everything she explained before she came to the last star.

"And last but not least? Sae, the Neck. From the House of Speaking. Sae is there to promote understanding."

[18:21] He didn't fully expect her to openly give him a lesson on the entire yellow branch, but that's what he wanted. He wanted to gain more knowledge to help with his mediation later.

"..Wow that a lot.." Waylan couldn't write down this information fast enough, but he tried his best to get the key points that would help him later.

"Hmm... thank you for that, it's really going to help my practice later on. It gives me a lot to look forward to and think about."

He taps his finger on his chin "I've been trying to figure something out, but I need a refresher on them."

He smiled and finally put his book away. "I think that might be all at the moment, is there anything else?"

"Unless you wish for a lesson on the entirety of the other two branches? Nothing that I can think of, to be honest."

[19:53] Waylan finally got the information needed to continue his meditation. He learned his mother's star was that of passion, but was he truly the same as her? He had a passion for others, but was it really to her degree?

Could Biblos have been her linking factors between both cosmic magic? Mother was quite loving, protective, sweet, loveable...

She cared so much for everyone around her that she died for this place... Waylan wanted to be like his mother so bad, he was eager to make her proud. She died for him, She died to ensure he'd carry on and have a wonderful life.

Waylan has shown moments of compassion, but not like his mother or even his father ever did. He placed a hand over his heart, he was saddened by these thoughts; however, he wouldn't feel this compassion if she did allow him.

Biblos was chosen to be his link between cosmic and holy magic. Two sides of the same coin, but he has only his mother to thank.

[21:15] Waylan had been his this state for a few hours he wasn't in a rush nor was he pressed for time. He only felt peace wash over his from as he attempt to make even the faint connection with the star.

Compassion was something he was brought up on and even in the face of danger he slowed compassion to those who desired it.

This might have been a sign from the very start that for his blood line this one start goes hand and hand with Holy. Cosmic and holy flowed though his blood, but he needed a reason to awaken it.

While his goal is noble his needs the pick up where his mother left off and merge it with a goal he created for himself.

Together it should be enough for him to find that drive.
