  69. *Alpha Centauri A: This is a G-type main-sequence star, which is the same type of star as the Sun. It is one of the closest and brightest stars in the sky, and it is part of the Alpha Centauri triple star system. 1.1 solar masses. 4.3 lightyears away. It cannot go supernova, but it's still too close. An ordinary run-of-the-mill nova less than 5 lightyears away would likely end all life on the surface, forever. It's doubtful anyone could survive even at the bottom of the Marianas Trench.

  71. Alpha Centauri B: This is a K-type main-sequence star, slightly smaller and cooler than the Sun, and it is also part of the Alpha Centauri triple star system. All of these stars could go nova at the same time, as is typical of binary and triple star systems like Alpha Centauri. Compounding the apocalypse.

  73. *Sirius A: This is an A-type main-sequence star, which is about twice as massive as the Sun and much brighter. It is the brightest star in the sky and is located in the constellation Canis Major. 2 solar masses, 8.6 light years away. DANGEROUS!

  75. Procyon A: This is a F-type main-sequence star, which is slightly larger and more massive than the Sun. It is located in the constellation Canis Minor and is the brightest star in that constellation. 1.5 Solar masses. 11.45 lightyears away. This star isat it's end of lifecycle and will be turning into a red giant over the next 10 million years or so. However, due to a quirk of being in a binary star system, it cannot go nova. It's sister, Procyon B is already a white dwarf. SAFE

  77. Epsilon Eridani: This is a K-type main-sequence star, which is about 80% as massive as the Sun. It is located in the constellation Eridanus and is the closest known star to have a planetary system. 10.47 lightyears away. Solar mass of 0.82. Star is very young! 800 million years old. Sol is older. SAFE

  79. Tau Ceti: This is a G-type main-sequence star, which is about 78% as massive as the Sun. It is located in the constellation Cetus and is one of the closest Sun-like stars to Earth. 11.9 lightyears away. Solar Mass: almost 4 Earths (tiny)

  81. 61 Cygni A: This is a K-type subgiant star, which is larger and more luminous than a main-sequence star of the same spectral type. It is located in the constellation Cygnus and is one of the closest stars to Earth. 70% of a solar mass. 11.41 light years away.

  83. 61 Cygni B: This is a K-type main-sequence star, slightly smaller and cooler than the Sun, and it is also part of the 61 Cygni binary star system. 1.01 solar masses 11 lightyears away

  85. Altair: This is an A-type main-sequence star, which is about 1.8 times as massive as the Sun and much brighter. It is located in the constellation Aquila and is one of the three bright stars that form the Summer Triangle. 16 light years away

  87. Regulus: This is a B-type main-sequence star, which is about four times as massive as the Sun and much brighter. It is located in the constellation Leo and is one of the brightest stars in the sky. 3.5 solar masses. 79 light years away. This could be very dangerous, especially because of its size. A quadruple star system with at least one white dwarf companion. Thought to be ~100,000,000 years old, making it very young. Not immediately clear whether this one is dangerous or not.

  89. POLLUX: Here's the bad one. Brightest star in the Gemini constellation. It is 34 light years away. Making it the closest giant, and the biggest star in our neighborhood. It is 34 solar masses. Far past big enough to go supernova and create a black hole. It's an orange proper-giant star. A planet (Pollux b) with at least twice the mass of Jupiter was found to be orbiting it. The spectrum of Pollux has served as the stable anchor point by which all other stars are classified. Thankfully, it's quite young.
