  1. All Jiggywiggy Puzzles FAQ:
  2.
  3. Q: What IS All Jiggywiggy Puzzles? Do you get all the Jiggies?
  4. A: No. The definition of All JiggyWiggy Puzzles, or more technically “Any% All Jiggywiggy Puzzles” (or even just All Puzzles for short) is to get 70 Jiggies so you can do all of Jiggywiggy's puzzles then beat Grunty's Hag 1, beating the game. So basically it's any% no DCW but with DCW and an extra bonus puzzle.
  5.
  6. Q: What is "AC/DCW"?
  7. AC/DC are an Australian rock band, formed in 1973 by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young.[1] A hard rock/blues rock band,[2] they have also been considered a heavy metal band,[3][4][5][6] although they have always dubbed their music simply "rock and roll".[7]
  8.
  9. Q: HAHAHAHAHAH YOU'RE SO FUNNY fuck off. Seriously, what is this trick?
  10. A: DCW is short for Delayed Cutscene Warp, in any% and low% it allows you to beat the game with 14 Jiggies. In cheato% it allows you to beat the game with 8 Jiggies. In All Puzzles and 100% it just allows you to skip Tower of Tragedy. For more details and a better description click here: http://pastebin.com/dX3JHMYb
  11.
  12. Q: If it’s so similar, then why even bother routing this all out? Why not just do No DCW?
  13. A: Because of the “No DCW” part. Because of that you NEED to do Tower of Tragedy, which while it's a fun thing casually, it has no place in a speedrun when we could easily just skip over it by adjusting a ruleset slightly. Plus routing this out has been really fun experience and there's a lot of stuff done in this category that couldn't be done if it weren't for DCW, which makes it stand out more.
  14.
  15. Q: What kind of tricks + glitches make this more interesting then No DCW?
  16. A: Well thanks to the Delayed Cutscene Warp I warp to the room right before the final boss, which can skip both Klungo 2 and the need for Springy Step Shoes by warping to the room right before the final boss, which allows me to get to Quagmire without Springy Step Shoes. In addition, by getting clockworks before I even open Jolly Roger's Lagoon, I can do a trick called TDL Early (tutorial on how to here: http://www.twitch.tv/madtaz64/v/26479041), which if the name doesn't make it obvious, allows me to get into TerryDactyland early. This trick saves time because I can get enough Jiggies to do the JRL, TDL, and GI puzzles all in one go, which saves a trip to Jiggywiggy.
  17.
  18. Because I skip learning Springy Step Shoes, I also do a trick called “Chompasaur Warp”, which allows me to do a clockwork warp through the door at the top of the Chompasaur Den in order to get to the top of the mountain. In addition, because I'm doing TerryDactyland before Jolly Roger's Lagoon, I also am doing a trick called Slit Clipping to get a Jinjo in the pool near the entrance (can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6MbRUk2htXY although I'll point out that I'm currently going to do it as Kazooie solo, since at least at the moment this trick is not RTA viable as BK combined) Normally, you need Talon Torpedo in order to get that Jinjo, but because I can't get that move until I go to JRL, this trick is the only way for me to get that Jinjo without having to do 2 trips.
  19.
  20. In Jolly Roger's Lagoon, because I have clockworks for the entirety of the time I'm in the level now, I do a quickdive out of bounds right upon entering the level (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_cqgBV9fcj0) in the ocean to get into the UFO without Talon Torpedo. It's barely a timesaver if at all, but it's too cool to not do, so I try to go for it every time anyways. The route I do changes slightly based on whether I get it or not, so some cool route variances are shown too!
  21.
  22. Q: How much faster is All Puzzles compared to No DCW?
  23. A: I'm going to make a sheet on this eventually, but based on VERY rough timings I've done so far All Puzzles is faster by a little less then 10 minutes. This was a bit surprising to me since I expected the number to be around 10-15 minutes but I guess setting up the DCW and the Extra Puzzle take a lot more time then you'd think.
  24.
  25. Q: How come this isn't on the leaderboards?
  26. A: Because the most of the community doesn't agree with me with the point I made above, and also no one else has really put time into it or done runs of it yet unfortunately. I'm hoping eventually I'll be able to convince other people to run this category, but we'll see!
  27.
  28. Q: How does Weldar Skip affect this category's route you are using? Is it the same as No DCW?
  29. A: Weldar Skip affects the run in a similar way, but not 100% the same. A lot of differences between the routes in both TDL and JRL lessen the time saved depending on the Jiggy that you would replace with Weldar Jiggy, here's a short list summarizing the differences:
  30.
  31. Taking out Chompasaur Jiggy takes out 2:15
  32. From my timings the fastest route would be the same regardless of whether you skipped Chompasaur Jiggy or not. I thought if I used Bird Balloon (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1RJPYcmZ_kE) that would speed things up a bit, but it turns out setting up the trick and performing it takes so long even if you did skip Chompasaur it would still be faster to just do Chompasaur Warp inside the den… so basically the only time saved is from entering the Chompasaur minigame and exiting it.
  33.
  34. Submarine Jiggies in JRL (and doing Canary Mary 3x) takes out 1 Minute 20 Seconds
  35. This was a lot less time than I expected considering apparently it takes out 2:34 in No DCW. Might be because I already do a lot of the same stuff in JRL already that is done in the route in No DCW where you skip the sub jiggies?
  36.
  37. Patch takes out 2:24?
  38. I can’t really see why this would change much between No DCW and All Jiggywiggy Puzzles, but you also don't need to worry about going out of your way for more notes just to learn Airborne Egg Aiming, so we'll see.
  39.
  40. Q: Is there a route for this?
  41. A: Yes! There are multiple routes you can take for this category. Depending on how comfortable you feel with this game you might want to start out by just doing the No DCW route aside from just setting up DCW in GGM + WW, then DCWing at the end of the game. Otherwise if you are comfortable with doing TDL Early there's a couple routes you can do from there. There's the TDL in 1 Trip route: https://pastebin.com/vMKMXqjq but the one thing that allows for TDL to be in 1 trip as opposed to 2, the Slit Clip to get the Jinjo in the pool near the entrance without Talon Torpedo, is pretty hard to do, so if you don't feel comfortable with that you should also try out the TDL in 2 Trip route: https://pastebin.com/UgBZNiBn [OUTDATED, WILL PUT NEW ROUTE LATER]
  42.
  43. If you just want a semibrief summary of how the tdl early routes make the route different I also made a short list of changes between All Puzzles and No DCW routes: https://pastebin.com/3G8zfXXu
  44.
  45. Q: How solid do you think the route is? Do you think everything you’re doing is the fastest method?
  46. A: I'd say at the moment it's pretty solid, although there's always likely something I overlooked, I recently noticed my route for Terrydactyland last year did Rocknuts in a slower order then it could have been and that I could have gotten Taxi Pack in River Passage right as I split up instead of after I deathwarped as Kazooie solo after learning Hatch, for example.
  47.
  48. Q: Isn't it faster to dcw to [INSERT LOCATION HERE]
  49. A: No. Using the Credits cutscene is definitely the way to go because you warp to the Gun Chamber, which is the only way to skip Tower of Tragedy besides warping to Hag 1. Warping to Hag 1 would only be faster if we didn't have to do all of the puzzles because of how long it takes to do puzzles. But then it wouldn't be called "All JiggyWiggy Puzzles" now would it?
  50.
  51. Q: Why are you doing the DCW right after WitchyWorld (MORELIEKBITCHYWORLD)?
  52. A: To get clockworks earlier then intended, which will allow me to do some things such as getting into and getting everything in TDL Early (tutorial on how to here: http://www.twitch.tv/madtaz64/v/26479041) skip springy step shoes, do JRL in one trip, and possibly more that I overlooked or forgot to mention!
  53.
  54. Q: Wouldn't it be faster to DCW right after completing all of the puzzles?
  55. A: Nope. I made a google doc of comparisons between my Clockworks Early route and the probable warp to credits route ( https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1cKI_K2PBU47Oh-t8DrBO1qGbWQ9i--t0zjStmXgSmoE/ ) and so far my route is about 20+ seconds faster. There may or may not be more to find/route out/time and maybe something I overlooked I'm satisfied for now. Even if it DID turn out to be slower this route is 100x more interesting then just doing the no dcw route and tacking on DCW + a puzzle at the end.
  56.
  57. Q: How long did this take to route out?
  58. A: TOO. FUCKING. LONG. TDL was a nightmare because of the stage being a giant circle and where you spawn the amount of possibilities are endless. So far I’ve thought of well over 10 routes and god knows how many pages, timings, sleepless nights, and tears have been lost because of TDL Early. Cronikeys finding you don't need talon torpedo for TerryDactyland added about a few more of those on top of that. Here's all the pastebins + docs showcasing all the timing + testing I've done so far:

  66. Be warned, there’s a LOT of timings.
