- Baiken grimaced, repositioning to fire again. "I warned you about that." A barrage of rope darts erupted from her sleeve suddenly, slicing through the air and spearing Heihachi in the arms and chest. ...Well, they would have, except Heihachi suddenly dodged to the side and the darts thunked uselessly into a nearby tree.
- "Stop struggling," Heihachi chided. "You couldn't possibly hit me now."
- At that, Baiken smirked again. "Wasn't aiming for you."
- Before he could process the jab, Baiken pulled back the darts, which had the effect of rappelling her across the small island, suddenly closing the distance fast enough for Heihachi to be caught off-guard. The bone of her shin slammed directly into Heihachi's stomach, the same place that had been carved by her claws and impacted with a cannonball, and this time, Heihachi didn't take the blow well. Staggered and winded, Heihachi stumbled, falling to a knee as he fought back sudden waves of nausea and weakness. He barely kept his head up long enough to see Baiken land against the tree, reaching casually to the side so she could retrieve the sword he'd disarmed her of a while ago.
