Deadmeat Chronicles: Leaving the Hide Out

>You are a maroon unicorn fluffy with a light green mane.
>The nummies are almost gone and the hidey hole stinks of death.
>You have had the fluffies gather the nummies.
>Some are carrying leaves in their mouths and others have it on their fluff.
>You had the dead drug out after the raid.
>You tried to console the mommy after she lost one of her babies but even enfs didn’t cheer her up.
>It has been two days since the fight and you have decided it is time to move on.
>You have let three of the raiding fluffies join your herd after they begged to join.
>Some more fluffies have joined by wondering into your hide out.
>You step out onto the side walk and look around.
>You see no monsters.
>”Fowwow Deadmeat!”
>You step out and start walking with your herd falling in line behind you.
>Haze falls to the back and stays a few steps behind the herd.
>Next Special Friend trots next to you singing, “Smawty am bestest smawty de onwy smawty fo fwuffy!”
>”Smawty fin nummies and gif owies to bad fwuffies!”
>You keep close to the fences and hedges in case you need to hide.
>You walk for a little bit when you hear a fluffy yell out behind you, “Nummies!”
>You turn and see one of your herd members charging a garden.
>”Nuu! Nuu weave-“
*SNAP*
>A metal jaw slams shut on the fluffy.
>It clamps around his front chest and shoulder.
>His eyes bug out and he shakes for just a second before falling over.
>Two fluffies start to run to the dead fluffy.
>You charge after them
>You get to the dead fluffy and bat the ears of the two fluffies hugging him.
>”Nuu weafe hewd! Back noa!”
>They start crying and apologizing then run back to the line of fluffies.
>You look over the dead fluffy.
>It seems two large metal curves shot up and crushed his chest and head.
>You sniff the clamps.
>You stick your horn into the clamps and pry but they do not come apart.
>”Dey too stwong… fwuffies nuu open snappies…”
>You turn around seeing haze laying on his belly behind you with his head down.
>”Pwease nuu sowwies smawty…”
>You get close and sniff the trap.
>You smell the metallic odor and oil.
>”Aww snappies smeww dis way?”
>”Nuu… some smeww wike twees… udder have nuu smeww…”
>You look back at your last hidey hole, ”How yoo know snappies nuu dere?”
>”Haf to mof awound… if yoo nuu get owies… it saf….”
>You set back and look at the garden and then back to your herd.
>”Fwuffy haf to haf nummies…”
>Haze just lays and looks at you not saying anything.
>You continue to stare, “Hewd nee fwens or nuu hewd…”
>You look back at your herd as they huddle under a hedge row.
>”Bad fwuffy nuu stwong wike hewd but still gif biggest owchies.”
>”If bad fwuffy gif owies mo times den hewd be nuu mo…”
>You look back at the garden, “If hewd get too many owies fo nummies hewd nuu mo…”
>Your head is hurting.
>The nummies look so good.
>But your herd ate before leaving.
>You decide to bypass this garden.
>You walk back to the herd, “We mof noa!”
>You continue on.
>You notice the buildings keep getting bigger and bigger.
>When the bright ball get at its highest, you stop the herd and have nummie time.
>You run into a yard and have a quick play break before continuing on.
>You keep going and you see a desolate plot.
>It has piles of rubble all around it.
>You lead your herd over into the area.
>You see piles of brick and some brush piled up.
>You look around in awe.
>You see the place for what it is.
>A perfect place to hide.
>You run around and look outside the area.
>Yoy see roads filled with trash cans.
>You see places with houses and gardens.
>This is a perfect place to set up your herd and raid for food.
>You climb on top of a pile of rubble and look over your herd, “Dis nyu hewd pwace! Fin hidey holes!”
>The whole herd cheers.
>You climb down off the rubble and go to the brush pile.
>You climb into it and find a nice open area with a pile of leaves in it.
>You look at it wondering how it was already here.
>You see haze laying by himself in the middle of the lot.
>You walk over to him, “Why fwen nuu fin hidey hole?”
 >”Hase afwaid… nuu smeww snappies but udder tings can hewt fwuffy…”
>Next Special friend comes over and hugs him.
>”Yay! Fwen pway wif Nex Speshul Fwen!”
>Haze backs away, “Yoo wan Hase pway wif yoo?”
>”Yay! Fwuffies pway noa!”
>She tackles him and tickles the light blue earth fluffy with yellow mane.
>You look around seeing all your fluffies smiling.
>Pookie runs up to you, “Smawty bestest smawty! Fin gud pwace! Wan pway?”
>You spend a while playing run around with Pookie.
>After a while the bright ball starts to fall.
>”Fwuffies get sweepies! We fin nummies tomorrow!”
>The fluffies all run to their perspective hidey holes.
>You walk to the area you picked.
>The mommy is singing slightly as she feeds her baby.
>”Mommeh wub babeh…” she is smiling down at the foal.
>You go into your hidey hole and crawl into the leaf nest.
>You start to plan out tomorrow as you lay your head down.
>You should get a few fluffies and dump trash cans.
>That should get you enough nummies for-
>”Why yoo hewe!”
>You look up seeing a large grey unicorn fluffy with a light purple mane above you flanked by two large earth fluffies.
>”Dis smawty wand!”
