Gameplay-wise it's pretty much identical to the previous game, though the addition of a couple extra powerups and enemy variants, as well as unique bosses for each stage add a nice bit of extra variation.

Some of the CGs still dip into "I'm drawing on a Wii U gamepad lol", but the overall frequency of this is less. Better than the original game by a long shot, though it doesn't really hit the quality level the better CGs from Academy did.

The storyline might pull a chuckle or two from the double-entendres and the Metal Gear references but other than it's eh, though I sincerely doubt anyone looking into buying this could give a damn about the story anyway.

Soundtrack is still fab, nudie patch still free. No catgirl this time, but there's at least a dog girl to fill the void.
