  1. [10:23:19 PM] Loqua: [9:39:20 PM] Storyteller: As you get nearer to the tree you see that even the roots tower above you. There is a space of at least 30 feet between the ground and where the roots meet the trunk.
  2. [9:40:06 PM] Storyteller: As you near, you see giant insects beneat the tree and going some ways out from it. Ants the size of horses rush past you in procession heading towards the edge of the clearing
  3. [9:41:43 PM] Storyteller: You can now see squirrel men perched on platforms stretching between the roots. They have bows and spears beside them, but don't look actively threatening. From this vantage, you can also see nicer houses further up the tree on large platforms. You see winged humanoids flitting between these houses
  4. [9:42:27 PM] Loqua: Loq stares at the ants, with an expression all too familiar to Edilia and Magnus, though she seems to find it all fascinating.
  5. [9:43:24 PM] Storyteller: The squirrel men are just watching you, not making a move.
  6. [9:46:05 PM] Loqua: "Hey. Hey Magnus. Ant mounts?" Loqua bounces in place.
  7. [9:46:49 PM] Senna//The Blessed Wind: Senna//The Blessed Wind mumbles so no one can hear her "who calls who a kid?"
  8. [9:49:23 PM] Loqua: Loqua grins at everyone. "Come on, this'll be awesome!"
  9. [9:49:52 PM] Toriki Leto: "I can't see how this could possibly go wrong."
  10. [9:51:31 PM] Senna//The Blessed Wind: "i can, they get pissed and kill her, or... they treat her like a goddess bound in flesh and try and free her from her flesh prison... both ending badly for her"
  11. [9:52:11 PM] Toriki Leto: "Doesn't understand irony either."
  12. [9:52:42 PM] Loqua: "Oh shove it up your ass ya lily-livered, yellow bellied child of a whore~!" Loq quiets down and goes to wrangle her an ant.
  13. [9:53:17 PM] Senna//The Blessed Wind: "thank you... we must be sisters then" she smiles at loq
  14. [9:53:39 PM] Toriki Leto: "Doesn't understand wit either."
  15. [9:54:05 PM] Senna//The Blessed Wind: "or maybe i do and am ignoring it hmm?"
  16. [9:55:01 PM] Toriki Leto: "Well, I would hardly want to judge anyone who's being dull on purpose."
  17. [9:57:33 PM] Senna//The Blessed Wind: "i would say: dont judge a person without knowing them, but that would be unhumble and very much hypocritic"
  18. [9:57:57 PM] Loqua: Loqua stalks the ant she wants carefully. Workers, guards... Hmm. A guard would, frankly, be a badass mount, and they're likely to go after her if she just wrangles up a worker anyways. She might as well go for the big guns. So she does, pulling a thin chain from one of her pockets.
  19.
  20. She pauses for a deep breath, and watches- THERE. Blind spot. She loops the chain through the air, tossing it onto gigantic g'damn ant and scrambling her way up.
  21.
  22. This, of course, is where it gets interesting. Once she's on it, she has to stay on it. And not get eaten. She chirrs to it, trying to sound reassuring.
  23. [9:58:14 PM] Toriki Leto: "Well, I couldn't possibly answer to that, I have never been unhumble in my life."
  24. [9:59:15 PM] Senna//The Blessed Wind: "i try not to but sometimes i slip"
  25. [10:01:58 PM] Storyteller: The ant initially thrashes about as you land on it. Your chirring seems to calm it, however, and soon it just stands there docilely
  26. [10:03:11 PM] Storyteller: The squirrelment begin to chitter to each other and point. You think they are laughing
  27. [10:05:05 PM] Loqua: Loqua just barely contains her urge to giggle, continuing to chirr and click to it while she figures out how the hell to get it to go. She unloops the chain. Hmm. She steadies herself and considers. It's got carapace, so just squeezing her legs and leaning won't work... Antenae are sensitive though, aren't they? She tries gently stroking the one closer to the party.
  28.
  29. "C'mon buddy~"
  30. [10:07:08 PM] Storyteller: The ant lurches forward, nearly throwing you off. However, soon you learn to control it, even mastering some simple turns
  31. [10:07:30 PM] Storyteller: Now the chittering squirrels aren't laughing. You think they might sound impressed
  32. [10:10:09 PM] Loqua: Loq preens once she's got a good idea of how to steer it. "That's a good girl, yesss. What a good girl. Let's go show off." She coos happily.
  33. [10:11:16 PM] Storyteller: The ant chitters along with you, apparently pleased at the novelty (or something, ant psychology is unfathomable)
