Yvette - A Revenge Beginning

[19:26] Sicks says, "Hm.."
[19:27] Yvette stared at Sicks as he stood before them. After a few moments she'd speak.

[19:31] Moves to display their left arm. It had a mighty fine gash in it. But nothing that wouldn't heal over time. "I can also give you some food after. On the house. It probably needs a zap of mana to get the tingly feeling away, too."

[19:33] Yvette Eldergrove says, "Right now, eh? "
[19:34] Beautiful indeed- An absolute gem and gift to the world. Lukas looks around a bit, surveying the area before shifting their arms and undoing the wraps around their body that held the infant nice and firmly.

"Would you like to hold him?" They ask even though they've already taken the child into their arms and held him out for Sajid to take. Their gaze fell to Maeve for a second, as though the question also extended to her.

"He can be a heavy sleeper sometimes. The moving shouldn't bother him too much." They speak softly, more soft than usual.

[19:34] Sicks says, "Unless you're afraid."
[19:39] Blake Augustus says, "Sicks. We are going to hunt soon as my arm is fixed up."
[19:40] Ears flicked while his head was swirling with bad thoughts. That girl really did mess with his head. The teen growling under his breath while he was muttering to himself about not being weak. Perhaps the kid was going crazy if he wasn't already.

His hand grasping his head while he walked around in a circle. What the hell was he doing? Even Mylow didn't noticed he was walking in circles.

"N..Never.. again.. Never again..."

The ookami muttering nonsense.

"Liars?....No.. they never lie.. Would they?"

[19:40] Maeve remained staring at the child as it's more or less passed off to Sajid. Well, he's passed off. Not it... Maeve reminds herself that the baby had a gender pronoun and was not an item. But, that does remind Maeve...

"What is his name? Perhaps it could bring fame..." She first asked before allowing her mind to stew upon the question that they'd just asked the young girl. If they wanted to hold the child? Well, she did not see a reason as why not to hold the child.

"Sure. I could. I should." She spoke, extending hands for the child after Sajid was done.

[19:40] Yvette looked at Sicks for a few moments, it wasn't the most ideal thing to try and accomplish her task on. Yet, here was a demon with a sworn debt of violence. Might as well give it a shot right?

"Maybe, or maybe I'm taking a new approach for my revenge." As she spoke she'd cross her arms floating evenly off the ground. Rust colored hues shifting across there frame for a moment.

"..." As she spoke she'd bring a hand from her chest to rub her chin. This manipulation wasn't very suited for her. That left her with falling back on old habits.

"Fine, let's see if you've gotten any stronger." As soon as she spoke she'd float away, her back leading the way. "Come, come, let's go somewhere more fitting."

It was a small start at-least. Shifting the battlefield to one suiting her.

[19:43] He nodded once, stepping to follow along. The debt would be repaid, if nothing else than to leave it in the past. She was set on revenge.

"Okay."

He turned to Blake, "I'll be in the Vale, feel free to come with."

This shouldn't take long.

[19:46] And so he followed up until she selected a location.

"I'll have you know, Yvette, I won't kill you here. I seek only two things."

With that he raised a finger.

"One, we'll be putting this revenge plotting of yours in the past. Moving forward. You'll realize I'm superior and you'll remain in your place."

Another finger raised.

"I'll be feeding a bit of your essence to my blade, to the spirit in my possession."

Sienna irises transitioned to a ruby shade, horns enveloped from beneath ashen locks, occultic auras bubbled from around his figure in preparation. A hand then reached to grasp at the hilt of his blade to strike it forward.

"Prepare yourself."

[19:52] The young woman's feet shifted, floating lower to the ground. Her toes dug into the earth as her eyes closed softly. She was getting a feel for the area. Attuning with the thin veil between this realm and the next.

When those eyes re-opened they flashed a ethereal blue. Leveling upon the demon as he spoke. She'd offer a grin, her fists coming up settling into an aggressive stance.

"I've had a lot of demons make the same claim, but that's the issue with your kind. You've this belief in staticness. As if the world will be still for your dominance."

As she spoke a flush of malignant winds pickedup at her feet. The dust twirling about her as her mana circuitry started to flash into action. Raw occultism starting to coat her body, rolling off in a great wave.

"My essense? Well, how fascinating because I'll be taking your own. Though not for any sword, no it'll be in the Dark Lord's honor."

There was a moment as she took a breath, feeling the air about her begin to bubble and warp amid the corrupted winds that coursed from her form.

[19:58] With that, he didn't even bother responding. She clearly had her premeditated ideals concerning demons and their stances, Sicks in particular.

No, no. She was wrong however. He was fine with leaving their disagreement in the past. She didn't need to bow to him, only keep out of her way. Though he wouldn't bother expressing this to her. She would never believe it.

The beginning of the fight went entirely his way, the gap between their powers had only increased.. though he did notice her gaze. That crystalline hue. It was much like Blake's, or Anabelle's. She must've become a witch. Good, his spirit would be more pleased by her essence. Perhaps even grow further power..

"It isn't too late to forfeit Yvette. Yield now and do not risk losing anything permanently. You'll only need offer your essence without a struggle, and agree to my terms."
