  1. We get a cold opener of Diana doing a video on studying tools/tips to explain that finals week is the first week of December. She also explains the video is being posted earlier than usual because of its themes but also since it’s not a typical one planned, but she does (could) have a buffer planned for Wednesday. Could mention she’s excited to hang out with her Dad, and also that a friend (forrest) is planning to bake cookies with her to celebrate end of exams? (We can have that happen during Thanksgiving too, maybe - she brings up cookies and how he makes a mean batch and while she likes baking it’d likely have to be after exams with her schedule being packed. An excuse for him to mention his family then, as well.)
  2.
  3. We then cut to next scene, which is at the tail end, either the literal end of exams or the night before, where Diana is totally worn out. Her and Madi have a small moment of companionship in their dorm room bitching over finals together and how great it’s going to be to get out of the dorm when Diana suddenly gets a call. Her dad says an emergency came up at work and he’s not going to be available for a Significant chunk of time (which she’s shocked about. However, he already set something up with Robin, a family friend. She’s both worried - her dad is an Accountant What What The Fuck - but also sort of just... unsure of how to feel? Because if her Dad isn’t at her hometown she really has no reason to stay there besides her room (which is admittedly nice and all, if not maybe a plane ticket home worth.) Plus, at least with Robin there’ll be good food at the inevitable Christmas party. Madi might joke that she’s welcome to stay at Diana’s house, and Diana snarks back about Madi just keeping her up the entire time.
  4. If need be, this can also take place at Seb’s bookstore if she’s studying there, but I’d still like some sort of scene where Madi and Di brother in arms exams.
  5.
  6. Between the sudden news and the fact of the matter that she has a ton of free time, Diana gets distracted (during exams? Peak stress. Or after she settles in at Robin’s, either or) and decides that she has to do something with herself. The scene fades as she begins to call someone (the Hunter) up asking if they’re available that day.
  7.
  8. Cut to Hunter scene where yadda yadda, Di says she wants to start training. We’re also introduced to Hunter’s kiddo as Forrest is there, because if he gives her a ride there they likely have to talk. They could still be baking cookies, maybe Diana sticks around! Could be very likely that was going to come over to Robin’s and bake with her, but because the daughter caught wind of it she wanted to get in on the action so he was going to do a test batch with the daughter, since he’s a little rusty himself. They end up just having fun there.
  9.
  10. After she’s done with her business there, she gets a text from Yvonne (or Madi) telling her that since (Madi and her) are done with finals, Yvonne wants to treat them to a celebratory meal. Over that meal (likely dinner, probably lunch though) she invites Diana (since Madi’s already invited) to her Christmas party. There’s likely some discussion about if she needs help planning, that Diana has to go find a dress (so they make plans next week). Diana decides not to bring up the magic thing just yet just because she likes to keep some things to herself. (“It’s only fair after all, the vampire thing was more convenient anyway.”)

  12. Week 2
  13.
  14. Diana settles into Robin’s house, likely both excited to practice her magic later on in the week, but also bored and bundled up with nerves. She has a burst of inspiration where all her makeup videos are planned - Christmas sponsorships make that really easy - and wants to go even further. In a fit of inspiration, and likely a binge of shojo manga/romance reading in general (maybe that’s how the scene opens?) and perhaps feeling a little bit ego-bolstered by helping Madi earlier, along with comments from her readers asking for advice anyway, she decides to try out a relationship corner. While she gets some good prompts, she gets a prompt that has her stuck. She decides to consult the vampires for help.
