2:59 PM - pw.lyse[kr]: The first matches are on snakewater how do you guys feel about the map?
Well snakewater overall can be fun, but as a team you have to realize certain advantages you can work with on the outcome of the mid fight. Obviously if the opposing team wipes at mid with 4/6 people (with medic) up then it’s an instant round win on how you push to the other teams last. A few of the matches I was able to watch on Tuesday, people were just waiting for quick picks since scouts can’t use bonk anymore to check for sticky traps. I won’t reveal much on what my team does but my team as well has been trying to find certain ways to push last. This map has been fun to play in scrims though. Reemix does hate it but that’s because bonk was banned and it changed our strategies playing this map. It made it simple for teams to use that weapon to set up distractions when pushing in at chokes but it also might be a good thing to make teams find or create different ways to push at stalemate situations. I think the area heading into to last might need some more work.

6:48 PM - Robotic: The map is great aside from last which is pretty awful. I could scrim on badlands forever but I'm already sick of turtling on snakewater last.
3:00 PM - pw.lyse[kr]: Alot of people feel it is a scout heavy map, do you agree? Without being too specific (I don't want to steal your strats) how have you changed your gameplan for the map
Well from what I have seen other teams do, heavy works well defending last if you protect him. I don’t agree as much at it is a scout map because soldiers do get their fair share of picks and the mid fight determines how scouts can be helpful as well. As I mentioned before, while watching a few other matches and scrims, engineer/heavy/pyro/sniper/spy works well but it matters what class you give up to make those adjustments.
6:53 PM - Shrugger: I would say it is a relatively easy map to avoid spam on, and I tend to get really good kdrs on it

3:00 PM - pw.lyse[kr]: How do you feel about the difficulty of your schedule?
As of now we only know the first six teams we are facing and only four are active. I don’t underestimate any teams we face. I like to know who is going to be their main player to focus on and make a game plan on what we do on certain maps. Roots team right now seems the team I am anticipating to play because they have experienced players and I believe it should be a good match as well. All we can do as a team is prepare on how we execute each area of the map and have our players cause mayhem. There are a few darkhorse teams in open that have give us a few problems but that is going to help us adjust
3:00 PM - pw.lyse[kr]: I'd like to know a bit about each player on your roster and how you guys came to be a team?
Well I actually wanted to play scout/soldier as a backup in season 8 so I asked reemix and skaboss if I can backup for their team. I was taking a break during season 8 because of school but then once I was done and had free time I asked if I could play some more. They let me play a few matches in the end and it was fun playing with a few of them. A bit fast forward, once playoffs started, skaboss and reemix wanted to rebuild and they asked me if I would actually medic for them, which it took me a bit to decide because I wanted to see if other teams were looking for a medic but I later agreed to join when Basik wanted to play scout with reemix. The true person to thank the creation of Banned From eHarmony was skaboss really. Once Basik wanted to play soldier and switched skaboss to pocket it was alright. Freddy was actually trying out for soldier but then switched to demoman and pretty much surprised all of us.  We actually had a difficult choice at who would play the other scout. We were interested in MaskedJackal, Chef Brad, and Shrugger. We were gonna go with Chef Brad but from the scrims we had with Shrugger, we liked his raw dm and that not many people knew him. I’m a fan of having unknowns on my teams but everyone knows who Shrugger is now. Later on as we got more serious so we made the decision of letting skaboss go because we weren’t in sync as much in scrims….Moving on we picked up Tooth but then he wanted to play with his friends so we were stuck without a soldier for about 3 weeks until we made another tough choice in two soldiers and picked up Robotic. So far our wonderful backups have been there for us as well (ingin, testify, Remedy) and hibachi for being there for when we needed a ringer.The story behind the name of our team is on our esea team page, no joke that’s how we got the name.
3:01 PM - pw.lyse[kr]: Do you guys have any opinions on the item, map, and class changes from season 8 to 9? (Banning of bonk, sydney sleeper, sandvich?) (Change from viaduct and coldfront to their pro equivalents) (and reduction of 2 heavies to 1)
5:57 PM - Robotic: I approve of the banning of the SS and sandvich, I hate that Bonk is banned, viaduct and coldfront (especially coldfront) are shit no matter how you change them and should be removed from the map list but pro_gullywash is a great improvement, and I agree with the 1 heavy limit.
6:44 PM - REEMIX: I dont agree with banning bonk or sanvich. And honestly do not understand why people are bitching about it now, when its been in previous seasons.

3:02 PM - pw.lyse[kr]: What do you think of this season of ESEA?  Do you have any expectations for the season?
Well with TF2 now free to play, I believe this is a good chance for the competitive community to show everyone what our community is like. I read that stupid post about the myth of how comp players act towards pubbers and all. Just like Brad_Dick, there are cj/communities that act worse in TF2. Hopefully with TF2 helping spread casts in their blogs we can get more viewers interested about 6v6 tf2. The increase in open of this season is good and there is more competition in IM this season as well. Invite will be fun to watch and see fresh blood in that scene. Good luck to bomb and thrill in their first season in Invite as well.
3:02 PM - pw.lyse[kr]: How do you feel about teams that have IM or Invite players, since you have some of the stronger individual players do you think it really makes a difference?
Well certain teams that are in open have complained about us and teams like Man Mode Enabled , Team Bad v2, Vehemace, 10 POINTS TO GIFFYNDOR, and HANL having some former IM players and one Invite players. When it comes to our team, Basik is the only one with invite exp while Freddy and myself have played in ESEA for at least 3 seasons. The difference I believe is that a few of these teams didn’t start scrimming until the playoffs were over while our team has been scrimming since the start of season 8 playoffs. It’s going to be fun playing those teams eventually.

Like I mentioned before Man Mode Enabled, Vehemace, We Play Hoops, HANL, Team Bad v2, 10 Points to Giffndor , Crysis (before they catch Hoagie), Zephyrs Team, Mutiny and iCarlyfanclub. We are not dreading to face any of these team but we can’t wait as well.
