Captain Brubby’s P8 Secret Guide

Hello! Some of these steps can be a bit buggy, and not all of it has proper documentation or test cases, this should tell you just about everything you should need to know outside a couple minor exceptions that may pop up!

==Prereqs==
Noggenfogger Elixirs
Sleeping Bag
Premo’s Shirt (Quest reward from BRD step, you can find many videos on this)
Friends! (Two of the world bosses can be difficult)

==Khonsu==
Travel to Silithus, Type /target wander to select the Wandering Swordsman. Mark him with a raid icon like box for visibility and then find him in the zone, speak with him to teleport to the Scarab Dais instance.
Defeat Khonsu on his platform 17 times in a row on hard. You must wiggle your strafe keys to dodge the mechanics properly, the fight is designed that way. Expect to not get this step done for days until you learn a workable strategy and the fight feels natural to you. Expect to be frustrated.  Khonsu will reset and resurrect you if you die. If you beat him, jump off the platform you fight him on and speak with him again for another round!
Once finished you will gain the “Dedication” buff and shortly after a pair of sunglasses will appear on your face, you do not need to equip anything.

==The Smuggler’s Cliff and the Ninja Costume!==
Travel to the Burning Steppes, go to the Orc Barracks next to the mountain’s entrance, behind the keep will be an altar to Indalamar, loot the skull on the altar
Head East and up the rocky base of the mountain, the mobs will brutalize you if you have a mana bar, use your Noggenfoggers until you get the skeleton costume and then click the skull and cross bones behind the big red bag on the wall. (You may need to relog for this to work)
Go up to the dwarf, wait until XX:17 server time for him to say “Toasty…”, you should be spamming jump before and after he says this, you may need to target him and use your Premo’s shirt on him while jumping - it can bug out! Don't be discouraged if he doesnt give it to you, wait till the next XX:17 server time and try again until you are rewarded your Linkuei Combatant Icon.

Your new icon will grant you one of many MK ninja outfits, the duration is longer than the cd, the costume enables you to see invisible things for this quest, so always have it up! If you use a different costume it will eat your MK ninja buff, but the important buff that allows you to see things will always be on until your costume would have naturally expired. Do not panic.


==Obtaining the Broken Wand==
Head to Redridge. Go to the keep with the elite orcs - in the south end of the keep, along the wall facing the outside world will be a number of boxes you can jump on to scale the wall, you will then have to parkour across the keep wall to face Par’korc. This elite has a lot of health and applies a stacking bleed, so kill him before he kills you! Loot the Moa’kin Band from the Orc. If you cannot loot the Moa’kin band, delete your cache file and try again.
Travel to STV, wait until the Blood Moon event begins, Look for Khadamu’s speech bubble as he spawns and head towards him. Once you see him, use your equipped Moa’kin Band on him to gain the Broken Wand. You will slightly piss off the big guy but he won't outright die from it.

==Obtaining The Reagents==
These steps can be done in any order, make sure you keep re-applying your MK costume!

Vancleef’s Boots: Head to Westfall, specifically, enter Moonbrook which is the town outside Deadmines. Once you enter that subzone a zombie gnoll named The Snatcher will spawn. An emote will happen in your chat log and then the gnoll will run away from you, attack him now! Attacking him will prevent him from fleeing and despawning. He applies the same stacking bleed as Par’korc. If he does despawn, wait a good amount of time outside moonbrook and then re-enter. The CD has changed a couple times but at one point in the build it was 25ish minutes. Once the gnoll is dead, loot the boots from his body.

Sunlight: Travel to Tanaris, in this zone is the Sun Admirer - a ghostly paladin with twiggy shoulders and an argent dawn tabard. He can spawn in any of the ruins except the north east one - he also can spawn in the troll towers in the north west and the crashed goblin zeppelin. Speak with him, he should drop a sword on the ground that you can loot, we believe you need to praise the light near him after doing so. This step does not stop people very often but we’ve had some strange reports about it. You may need to wait for the sun to be out in-game. After he despawns he will simply respawn at a random location.

(Bring Friends) Dreamstone: Scarimous is a big un-targetable tree man, he spawns in Ashenvale next to the left of the BIG dream portal, and in Feralas BEHIND the BIG dream portal. You can find him in the dream and outside the dream as he exists in both at the same time - put the trash in the dream is less annoying, Use your sleeping bag and get in it to make him targetable, then spam your shirt on him while attacking to get him to aggro. He hits very hard, will sleep you, and summon adds. Don't underestimate him! Loot his Dreamstone and move on.

(Bring Friends) Ingenious Toy: This can be done in either Westfall or Tirisfal. Travel to the Electromantic Resonance Transducer that is in either zone and use the Shirt on the device. If the device is not targetable then it is on CD. The Reaper will spawn. It hits very hard and has 3 phases. Phase 1 you need to not dps, only use interrupts or find ways for his cast to fizzle or miss to reduce his stacks of armor. When all of those stacks are gone, P2 begins. In P2 kite him and then dps him, he needs to walk. P3 Burst him down or disarm him before he does something nasty! Loot the Ingenious Toy from it’s corpse.

==Combining the Reagents==
Head back to the Smuggler’s Cliff, wait once again till XX:17 for toasty at the bench with the armillary sphere. A white glowing bubble will spawn called “Tear in the nether” Use your broken wand to combine your reagents. This will give you the Wand of Making

==Where it all began==
Return to a level 1 character starting location, at present this does not need to match your race, it might not even need to match your faction, You must walk over the exact location that players are created at. You will be sent to a new version of the Scarab Dais, and a jumping box will be there! Rahuz the ninja will spawn and aid you in defeating the box!

Once it’s dead many NPCs will spawn in congratulating you on a job well done. A chest will spawn and you can loot it for the Mortal Finisher axe, a Twill mask (Cosmetic RP item for bank alts), a bent spoon, and a Bind on account necklace that serves as a second hearthstone. It also will cause your character's eyes to glow with bright fire! If you send this item to your alt the alt will also gain the Fiery eye effect. You do not need to equip the neck to have this effect on your character

Heading to the front entrance will give you the doom guy costume for 2 hours

Heading to the middle part of the wall near the big THANK YOU and jumping at the wall will give you the Noob Saibot skin for 17 minutes.
