Hey I'm trying out the lubuntu live from usb flash drive
machine has windows installed (windows 7)
so i boot up using the flash drive
but internet isn't working
via ethernet
i rebooted into windows and it is working fine
i also disabled wake on lan setting on windows as apparently that can cause problems
and then rebooted into lubuntu
again internet not working
so i mess around with the network settings
create a new connection
use the google dns
8.8.8.8
and it started to work
but it disconnects after a while
like in a few minutes
if i reconnect to "ethernet network 2" it works again for a few minutes
I tried downloading archlinux via torrent to see if that would work
Got full speed on torrent
And it downloaded without problem
While it was downloading
Websites were not opening at all in firefox
"Server not found"
After the download is complete
I try to browse again
Didn't work
I removed the torrent and added it again
Torrent again downloads at full speed
So web browsing is not working but torrent is
what could be the solution for this?
