Overpowers blue spell

The next morning Wode worked him through the circles and the wards and showed Jodah how they could be expanded into other colors. He also worked with Jodah’s fire spells, giving him better control, allowing him to force more mana into them. Mana from the mountains was not Wode’s forte, but he knew enough to give advice. He also showed Jodah a spell by which one could bring down a blue spell by force of elemental power.

“Red and blue are called the elemental manas,” said Wode. “Red comes from mountains and fire, blue from waves and air. They are natural enemies.”

“Will my opponent be a blue Mage? ” asked Jodah.

“Likely,” said Wode. “I haven’t been told one way or another”
