- Pitch a Loona episode that would make you like her.
- If you already like her pitch an episode anyway.
- -
- >it's a backstory episode
- >Loona's from a Hellhound kennel ("Adopt-a-Hellhound!"), where she's been unceremoniously dumped (maybe along with her siblings) at a very young age by a distraught or uncaring mother who couldn't afford to raise them
- >raised in the dog-eats-dog atmosphere of the kennel, and is the last of her siblings (or, indeed, the last Hellhound left in the place) - at first, she was rejected for being small and weak, and then, once she adopted to the nature of the place, for being too violent
- >finally, Blitzo stumbles in, half-drunk or otherwise distraught, and buys her at half the price, bargaining in a way that makes her feel worthless...
- >...only to then use the remainder of the money to buy her a decent meal/some new clothes
- >fast forward to her living and being raised by Blitzo (who's frequently between jobs, but at least TRIES to stay above the influence)
- >he's not a good father, but at least he tries
- >she still thinks he's keeping her around as a servant, but he stops her every attempt to do so (mainly because she's clumsy)
- >she fears he'll eventually send her back to the kennel, and even runs away once (causing him to freak out and yell at her when he finds her, asking why she ran away)
- >eventually, she opens up about her past, and, in time, so does he about his - we see what happened to HIS family
- >as she grows older, she bonds better with him (becoming a mischievous, bratty kid), as he often drags her along for his get-rich-quick schemes
- >slowly, she becomes disenchanted with his "dad", but he's blissfully unaware of the fact, and still treats her like a kid - coddling her whenever they have the money
- >by the time I.M.P. is being formed, Loona is more autonomous, and Blitzo has begun to accept the fact that she's growing up
- -
- >her first meeting with Millie and Moxxie seems to go well, initially - she seems emphatic to Millie, who's from a poorer background (whilst Moxxie and Blitzo briefly bond over their bad family experiences), but it's quickly revealed that she just sees them as the same "suckers" she and Blitz used to con, and is envious of their happy family life
- >she especially likes criticizing Moxxie, who's more apprehensive about her, and is more vocal in his dislike about her, eventually just giving up on all civility
- >Millie, on the other hand, is more subtle in her dislike, disparaging her with indirect, barbed comments, unless she's mocking her husband
- >eventually, the mutual dislike just becomes the norm, and neither side does anything about it
- >towards the end of the episode, she leaves the office behind (with the phone beginning to ring immediately after she slams the door behind her), and makes her way down to the Hot Topic-standing that Octavia likes to visit, the two of them bonding over their embarrassing dads without recognizing who the other (and, by extension, their dad) is, and exchanging numbers so that they can contact each other in the future
