Also known as the "fair folk," fae are creatures that have existed since before humanity. Common to all fae is their enchanting beauty and their greatly extended lifespan. Fae can only be born; no one can become a fae through magic or otherwise.

Unique to fae is that they are not typically born from other fae. The majority of fae are born from some element of nature. That is not to say that they do not have familial bonds, as most fae group together with others born in the same way as them. As such, most bonds are brotherly or sisterly. The average lifespan of a fae is around 1000 years and the majority of fae are female.

In tune with nature, a fae can usually sense any kind of fluctuation in the weather or in the earth and have been known to predict earthquakes, tornadoes, tropical storms and volcanic eruptions.

All fae have two appearances: their natural look and their glamoured look. To exist in the human world and maintain their secrecy, all fae will use what is known as glamour to give themselves a more human appearance. Glamour is magic that disguises their true form; it is not a transformation.

Anything that we should know about your character?: Priscilla is claustrophobic, and prefers large areas with ample room to stretch her legs. She is heavily influenced by the weather and hunger. She is happiest with being the center of attention, becoming venomous or morose without it.

As a fae, while she cannot lie, she is masterful with the art of subterfuge -- manipulating events, minds and hearts for her own gain. Nor can she withstand physical contact with iron, as it's caress burns and weakens. A fae's blood possesses both curative and hallucinogenic properties, which causes understandable unease around the more predatory side of the supernatural gene pool. This heritage also makes her prone to vanity and promiscuity.
