- [14:54] Ethan Hawke says, "So-"
- [14:55] Ethan felt like Thera was the kind that would understand a plan laid out all at once, though he had to preface it first - if only to catch her interest in some sort of way.
- "I'm going to try to purify a Nethradin. I think I've got some working process to make it happen, too."
- (Ethan Hawke)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [14:58] "Hm. Most Nethradin were simply essences before, so I don't see why the influence of Helheim and the original Nethradin's couldn't be reverted." It was simply easier to drag them back to Hel, but her curiosity had been piqued.
- "So, what's the plan?"
- (Thera Elisheva)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [15:02] Ethan nodded, thankful that the woman knew of what Nethradin essentially were. It would have been worrisome if she didn't.
- "I took a book from Cal's page and yours. At first I wanted to send the Nethradin to a star to get it cleansed, but it probably, definitely wouldn't make it out of there alive. Then Cal said that I should use the spirit world itself to cleanse them, so I thought about two different thing; either like... super-exposure to a great amount of lifestream, or having it touch Yggdrasil and hoping it'll cleanse all the bad directly."
- A pause is had, only for him to explain more.
- "I'd use Wayfinding to send the Nethradin wherever works best after making a contract with them, ensuring that their spirit is bound to my staff like Phil is. That'll give a sorta... anchor to come back. I don't expect them to be able to be back at full power, though, but with a spire shard the whole process could be possible and give them a proper form that isn't bound to an object, yeah?"
- (Ethan Hawke)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [15:20] Thera whistles.
- "Sending them into a star would likely make the spirit rejoin it's soul, and sending them to Yggdrasil might work, but...that is the birthplace of the fae, and...that realm is protected by a fair amount of Wardens. There is a very real chance that, as soon as it shows up, the guardians of that realm will tear it apart."
- She taps her nails across, the table, humming as the sounds of nail and wood echo within this chamber.
- "...hm. All I know how to do, with certainty at least, is bind spirits to this realm longer with the shards. But-" Cleansing the Nethradin. It wasn't the worst idea she'd ever heard, and while the originals were necessary...
- There are far too many running around in places that they don't belong.
- "..hm. You might be onto something, but I'll have to continue this at a later date. I've an idea, but...I'll need to contract a certain spirit before I even feel comfortable suggesting it."
- (Thera Elisheva)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [15:23] Ethan offered a small nod. This idea had gained nearly no traction, leaving him with less solutions than before, really. Still, anything that was a bit of progress would make it all worth it in the end, right?
- "Alright. I'll have to return to that Nethradin and handle giving them the news, but... yeah. If you ever get an idea that might work tell me. I'm sure that with a shard and a place to anchor them down they'll probably stick around. Purifying them's the issue."
- A smile is cast towards the spiritmancer.
- (Ethan Hawke)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [15:24] Thera Elisheva says, "Mhm. There should be a way, no doubt."
