  1. I've decided to shut down Virtual Penguin.
  2.
  3. Why?
  4.
  5. I want a fresh new start when beginning university. I'm going to be turning 19, meeting new people, and I'll be living on my own for the first time. I'll also be starting a new job to pay my fees. I do not have time to worry about a Club Penguin game and getting into stupid arguments with VP rejects on Twitter. I'm sorry for the people who regularly play Virtual Penguin, but my decision is final.
  6.
  7. When Timmy and I created Virtual Penguin we didn't expect it to achieve everything that we've done so far. We've lasted for 9 long months, managed to get over 100,000 registered users and create a huge community. Virtual Penguin was a very successful project for us, and we easily managed to make it one of the most successful CPPSes ever. I met a lot of amazing people on this game, and I am very happy to have experienced everything as the admin of this game.
  8.
  9. However, there was some dark sides with owning VP. I've also encountered the most degenerate losers I've ever met. There's losers like Savage69 and Fdonaldtrump who constantly spammed accounts on the game after getting banned, and then there's the VP rejects who went to Oasis and for some reason constantly kept trying to create some sort of 'Oasis vs. VP' war and doing whatever they can to get my attention. Don't even get me started on Wiggala (medusa looking creature) and those annoying Twitter accounts like 'VPsucks'. I've also met snakes like James, a stupid 12 year old kid who somehow managed to create a group of other stupid kids with their imaginary CPPS 'Galaxy Penguin'. All in all, for some reason Virtual Penguin attracted a lot of these weird people who all had a weird obsession with me (I'm pretty sure all these kids have a picture of me saved on their computers for whatever reason). The sad thing is, most of these VP rejects are even older than me, and still playing CPPS religiously - which is sad and pathetic.
  10.
  11. Timmy and I considered VP more as a business than anything, and VP was good business. I was able to buy and do a lot of things this summer because of VP, and for that I am thankful for the loyal users and the great users who played Virtual Penguin.
  12.
  13. Many of you guys are now wondering what to do now that Virtual Penguin is closing. My suggestion is to simply: Move on. Honestly, one day you will look back at your life and realise how much time you wasted here. Trust me, when I was younger I was kind of like you guys and never did anything social whatsoever, and that was a very bad lifestyle for me. I decided to start talking and hanging out with my group of friends more often and started going out more and having more fun, and because of that the past 2 years of my life has been amazing and I hope to continue meeting new people when I go to university.
  14.
  15. I hope you can all understand and respect my decision to shut down Virtual Penguin. It was a good run, but all good things must come to an end. I'll like to give a huge shoutout to my loyal moderators, but especially Z. Z will be the only person I'll miss from Virtual Penguin, as she has been a moderator since February, a total of 7 months. She has been a loyal friend to me and has always been by my side through thick and thin, and for that I am thankful.
  16.
  17. Goodbye Virtual Penguin.
  18.
  19. PS. If you guys are going to ignore my advice on moving on and focusing on the real world then I suggest moving to FreePenguin, it's a very good CPPS and very similar to Virtual Penguin. The link is FREEPENGUIN.XYZ
