► born into a family with two older brothers and a twin brother, she was adored dearly as the only daughter. once when she was 4, she was out with her family and got scouted by a big agency (amuse inc).

  while her parents were against the idea of nao becoming a celebrity at such a young age, since nao was so enthusiastic and excited and her brothers kept on convincing them to let her try it out, she auditioned to become a child model and got signed with the company. from then onwards, she was rather famous in japan as a model.

  meanwhile, nao was doing okay in school. her grades were average and she had a fair amount of friends but not many people dared to approach her due to her popularity. she did get a lot of chocolates and letters on valentines day though.

  her job continued until she was in middle school when a friend of hers in school started stanning shinee, making her watch their videos too. from the videos and mvs, nao was inspired and began to take dance and rap lessons, using the money she earned as a long-term model.
