MASON:
- horrible
- mason consists of an immense jar, about the height of the green M tank seen here: https://www.drsozone.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/ozone-oxygen-tanks.png but twice as wide around. the bulk of it is clear glass, with four strips of a bronzish-golden metal between four plates of glass, these metal strips then spreading outward to act as decorative 'supports' for the endcaps, which consist of flat, gold-plated metal discs. a ring of the darker metal spans around the edge of the endcaps. four magnetite stones are embedded into a ring of steel that binds the endcaps to the glass. basically, this: https://i.imgur.com/jqw0lo4.png but less shitty.
- there are runes engraved in concentric rings along tops of each endcap, surrounding a central stone: a sizable ruby. more such runes are engraved in the iron rings.

- attached all along the outside, to four braids of rope reminiscent of shimenawa that are pulled taut between holes in the supports as depicted by the weird orange lines in the image, are little charms. they seem to be made of all sorts:
-- the majority are simple paper charms inscribed with sigils, variously from carefully cut to torn pieces of paper
-- one nazar
-- a few small stones, all of which are pieces of rainbow moonstone crudely attached to lengths of twine then tied tightly around the rope
- and a couple of plain rocks that seem to have been carved with sigils as well

- inside the jar is... well, bad.
- the majority of it is a black cloud reminiscent of both smoke and space, like a billowing, dark nebula with little stars dotted throughout it. there's definitely texture to it; varying shades of gray, with pitch black occupying most of the center of the jar.
- scattered within the cloud within are a few peering eyes, all of which are identical to sophia's
- there would also be the faint outline of rows of teeth here and there, hard to see but present. some open, some not. all sharp.
