  1. CWC-OS can only be live booted from a computer with exactly 2GB SO-DIMMs installed. Due to no source being available (copyright Christian Weston Chandler 200X-????) it cannot be compiled for other memory sizes. Also to note is if you were to disassemble CWC-OS, you'd see the assembly is strikingly similar to ReactOS, a GPL'd project.
  2.
  3. Upon starting up, half of a crude drawing of the CWC-OS logo will draw (the other half of the screen is glitched). This will remain for exactly 10 minutes 40 seconds.
  4.
  5. The primary interface will then boot with a recording stating "My name is Christian Weston Chandler. I am a lonesome 31-year-old seeking a sweet, caring, pretty, non-smoking, white boyfriend-free girl age 18 to 31. This is my operating system and nothing less!". There is no way to halt or interrupt this message, and the screen is locked until it stops playing.
  6.
  7. The primary interface then becomes usable. It depicts a crude drawing of Sonichu "juggling" application icons. These icons are in no way animated and appear to be one single image. There is no way to customize this. The icons can be clicked on once to start the application, using the mouse. The cursor is notably very fast, and there is no way to customize the cursor speed or single/double click options. In addition, the cursor is a pixelated 100x100 drawing of Chris' hand. There is no way to customize this. In addition, moving the cursor near or outside the boundaries of the monitor will crash the desktop.
  8.
  9. Applications include: CWC Comics (image viewer), CWC Internet (web browser), CWCalculator (calculator), CWCDOS (terminal emulator), Sonichu Adventure (video game). Opening an application will open it in full screen mode. There is no way to exit any of the applications, in order to access the main menu, CWC-OS must be rebooted. Of note is that CWC-OS retains control of the power controls of computers that offer them, most notably laptops, which are the primary user of SO-DIMMs, in addition it does not offer any controls to ever shut it down or reboot. This requires a hard shutdown of the machine to bypass.
  10.
  11. When starting up CWC Comics, a stolen image viewer shows up in full screen. This only displays pages from the Sonichu comic that come with the disc image. It will crash after viewing page 12.
  12.
  13. CWC Internet is a reskinned Midori using the default GTK theme. CWC-OS does not have any networking drivers, so this is useless.
  14.
  15. CWCalulator functions as a normal calculator. It can do basic arithmetic. Inputting more than 8 digits, or deriving an answer longer than 8 digits will crash the application.
  16.
  17. CWCDOS functions as a normal terminal emulator. Of note is that the default user has no administrative rights and no file access rights. There is no way to gain administrative rights, even temporarily, so there is no way to create a new user.
  18.
  19. Sonichu Adventure simply changes the "wallpaper" to a drawing of the city limits of CWCville and changes the mouse cursor to Sonichu. There are no clickable applications and otherwise no way to interact with anything other than moving the Sonichu cursor.
  20.
  21. If any of these applications crash, a loud noise will be heard from the speakers and the screen will freeze. This will happen indefinitely until the machine is hard rebooted.
