<b>B</b>eacon was destroyed. Razed in a cataclysmic battle when a combined attack of <b>G</b>rimm and <b>W</b>hite <b>F</b>angs ambushed the grounds. <b>V</b>ale was shaken to its core, as the global communication tower was destroyed. All of <b>R</b>emnant was cut off, <b>A</b>tlas forces fled, and were framed as betrayers. Yet, even as all hope seemed lost, <b>B</b>eacon students refused to give up. Even without offical licenses, they fought bravely, some to the bitter end. And in the final hour, the brilliant flash of light signaled the counter attack.<br><br>
It was a long and bloody battle. Many lives were lost. But, even with <b>B</b>eacon destroyed, their spirits were not shattered. Their numbers had dwindled, and many lost friends and family in the conflict. <b>G</b>lynda <b>G</b>oodwitch now stands as <b>B</b>eacon's <b>H</b>eadmistress, seeking to repair not only the walls of Vale's academy, but also the hope that was lost in the attack. Their trial will be a difficult one, all communications with the other Kingdoms has been severed. Further worse, the supply of <b>D</b>ust grows limited by the embargo created by <b>A</b>tlas. It seemed the world was falling apart, when it needed to stand united.<br><br>
Yet the need for <b>H</b>untsmen and <b>H</b>untresses still grows, especially while repairs are underway. Students of <b>B</b>eacon are working under extra scrutanty, split between their studies, and their duties as <b>P</b>rotectors. It will not be an easy road. Only the strong will survive, but this is the risk when wanting to be remembered as a <b>L</b>egend. Will the students reach for their <b>D</b>estiny? Or be resigned to their doomed <b>F</b>ate?

✠ RWBY: Tales From Remnant is a canon-divergent RWBY room focused on the adventures of OC characters. We are not accepting canon save for Headmistress Glynda Goodwitch. OCs only! There is an application for your character to fill out, provided by staff. Please make a copy of the file of the Google Doc it is on. <br>
✠ Because we are an OC room, canon lurkers with no interest in making a room-compliant character will be asked to leave. This is not a lounge room for canons. At all times, we place character development over OOC chit-chat. Please do not interrupt posts with OOC banter, else you may be kicked if you ignore the warnings of staff members.<br>
✠ Kindness and respect keep rooms thriving. We do not tolerate hate speech of any form, nor bigoted sentiments. Those caught doing so will be banned without hesitation. If players are being harassed, we will also be banning the harassers. We want this environment to be a safe one. Don’t sully it.<br>
✠ The administrator has final say in all things regarding room direction and plot, as well as if they are asked to settle conflict. The moderating staff will adhere to their judgment.<br>
✠ Please, please read the room topic before jumping in or making assertions about room happenings. It saves everyone, yourself included, from confusion. If you need an update as to where in the RP people are at, ask the players involved in a particular scene or staff. Do not make assumptions without confirmation, as it may go against the plot being built.<br>
✠ You are ENCOURAGED to create your own teams! That’s the point of RWBY, after all. We will not assign anyone. Bring friends, make friends, develop teams authentically… Do not feel as though you cannot do so. The point of this room is to emphasize Beacon’s revival. Lives were lost, it’s only natural you may have shattered teams and have to begin anew.<br>
✠ All teachers/pro-huntsmen/students are OC, regardless of where they hail from. To reiterate the first bullet, we aren’t interested in what canon is doing. Create your own adventures, there are plenty of opportunities. That being said, we are always welcoming staff and professional huntsmen.<br>
✠ Regarding Volume 7 and potential spoilers, staff view it as such: if you are RPing in this setting, you may be exposed to spoilers. Our current orientation is shortly after Beacon’s fall, but we realize people like entering discourse centered on volume events when RP isn’t happening. Mass censorship isn’t possible. We are not responsible for making this room spoiler-free. <br>

✠ Smut RP is prohibited in main. Take sexual interactions to DMs. Violators will be banned. <br>
✠ There shall be no godmodding, metagaming, or insta-kills. In combat scenarios, we allow people the freedom to fight in any way they wish, so long as all participants agree. If players feel another has violated one of the above tenants, staff will step in and read to exchange. Action will be taken against the violator.<br>
✠ People are welcome to pursue their own villains and personal plots. However, do not initiate a plot thread that is room-wide without permission of the staff. If you think your IC actions will impact the entirety of the room, discuss it with staff beforehand! We may be totally fine with it, but we’d prefer to be notified.<br>
