This draft is for 4 players.
Byleth, the House Leader, and Lysithea are free for all to use.
Byleth and the House Leader cannot surpass Lv 15 before the timeskip. Each extra level up beyond Lv 15 will result in an additional 15 min penalty.
Lysithea becomes banned starting in Ch 7 except for the team that drafted her.
All racers will race on the same route and the game will be played on NG+ Normal Mode Classic on a shared game file.
Time will start after Byleth’s birthday is confirmed. Time ends when the final boss reaches zero HP.
Rules:
BOONS ONLY RULE - Units can only gain skill rank if they have a boon or budding talent in that skill.
Exception: all units can use Battalions.
Undrafted units may not be deployed nor recruited except under circumstances described in the “Exceptions” section below.
Undrafted units can also not be asked to be mission assistants nor fielded as them.
Recruitment of an undrafted unit results in a 20 minute penalty, which is applied once the recruitment occurs. You may reset and choose not to recruit the unit(s) to avoid a penalty.
If you ask an undrafted unit be a mission assistant, this also results in the 20 min recruitment penalty. You may reset and choose to avoid asking the unit to be a mission assistant to avoid the penalty.
Deployment of an undrafted unit results in a 10 minute penalty, which is applied once the chapter is completed. You may reset the chapter and undeploy the units to avoid a penalty.
If you deploy an undrafted mission assistant then that results in a 10 minute penalty. You may reset the chapter and undeploy the unit to avoid a penalty.
NPC units may do as they please without penalty.
Drafted units may be recruited at any point after Chapter 1.
A rank support can be unlocked at any point for drafted units for instant recruitment.
Professor Rank A+ can be unlocked immediately.
Banned
The House Leader cannot be in a mounted class.
The following gambits/battalions are banned:
Retribution
Dancing battalions
All DLC stat boosters and crest items.
All other NG+ features not mentioned above. Including but not limited to spending renown to increase weapon ranks and/or unlocking skills of previously mastered classes.
The following items:
Chalice of Beginnings
Prayer Ring
Goddess Ring
Building supports with undrafted characters.
Except from calendar and story events.
Retreating from battles.
Saint Statues.
Combat skipping (includes enemy and npc phase skipping)
Before a player has access to Divine Pulse (in Prologue and Ch 1) and combat is skipped, the racer must take a 1 min penalty.
After a player gains access to Divine Pulse (in Ch 2) and if any combat is skipped then the racer must use a divine pulse to go back to before the skip and watch the skipped actions.
If the racer is out of divine pulses or if the action skipped is one the racer cannot undo with Divine Pulse, then they take a 15 min penalty per each skip.

Breaks
Each player is entitled to an optional 20 minutes of break time. You may divide the break time up as much as you want. The timer will NOT run during your break. Only time spent playing the game will count towards your final time.
If you use up all 20 min of your break, your clock will run as if you are playing and that time will be added to your official final race time.
If you are using your break, you cannot interact with your game. Otherwise it will not count as break time and your clock will run.
Exceptions:
All units are free to use in the prologue and Chapter 1
In-House units are free in Chapter 2 (Zanado).
Manuela can be drafted a total of 2 times by 2 different teams.

How does the save file get set up?
The save file must not have any renown previously invested into saint statues.
All battalions must have been sold before the final battle to prevent any from carrying over to the starting barracks of the NG+ file.
All A supports must be unlocked for free recruitment, but no one must have their S support unlocked.
