  41. Daughter of the mercenaries Roge and Joshy Herner, originally known as the Golden Saints in their prime. Now, out to make a name for herself despite being saddled with the callsign "Last Saint", a callback to her fathers and their glory days.

  43. The Golden Saints-
  44. The mercenary duo of Roge and Joshy Herner, at their peak 20 years ago. Now, retired with the vast sums of money they made in their life (surprisingly little of it from actual mercenary work, most of it came from allowing documentary crews to embed with them during missions and then investing that money into hypercorps), they run an independent space station outside of controlled space. While the Station, the Nekyo Wanderer, is technically independent, the Saints run a tight ship, and won't hesitate to use force to keep the peace (or remove Outer Seven scum from the premises).

  46. Maria is not the biological child of the Golden Saints, instead being the child of a member of their team, the chief mechanic Juda Midgard. When Juda died unexpectedly, Roge and Joshy took responsibility for the then-two year old Maria, raising her as their own. Maria has no memories of her birth mother, but her fathers have made sure that she knew her heritage.

  48. Appearance: Maria is average height, about 5'6", with tan skin and wavy black hair. She has a cybernetic left hand, and blue eyes.

  50. Personality:She is upright and moral, adhering closely to the Mercenary Credo, as her fathers did. She is exceedingly brave, but that borders on recklessness and a firm belief in her own invulnerability at times.
