My 246 Relay Race Challenge

Hey all! As you may or may not know, I organized a YouTube series known as the Super Mario 246 Relay a.k.a. the 3D Mario Series Relay Race. This project featured 8 amazing players where 2 teams of 4 race to see who can complete the whole 3D Mario Series the fastest. I've had a lot of fun working on this project despite having a lot of technical and personal issues with some of our players. Now that this series is coming to an end, I've decided to challenge myself to beat my own project to see if I can complete the series faster than the winning team all by myself. Why? Because I own all 4 games and decided why not give it a try.

The 3D Mario Series included:
Super Mario 64 - 70 Stars
Super Mario Sunshine - Any% (I will be going for 50 Shine Sprites as the original racers did that during the race)
Super Mario Galaxy - 61 Stars
Super Mario Galaxy 2 - 71 Stars

I will try and stream this on "most" weekends. On stream, you will see my gamefeed as well as the series on the side so you all can see where I am compared to the race. I will be using the same exact ruleset that I allowed on the project with a few standards that I'm allowing myself so that there's not any major setbacks. These standards include:
-I will be allowing myself only one reset per episode.
-I will be pausing the videos during my intermission of switching between games if I finish a game segment.

If you haven't seen the project on my YouTube Channel, then the overall rules that we use include:
-Each episode is 30 minutes long
-Each episode starts from File Select
-Any route is allowed
-All forms of sequence breaks are allowed
-Backward Long Jumps and Mips Clips are not allowed (for SM64)
-Defeat Shadow Mario is all main worlds (Episode 7 of each world for SMS)
-Skipping missions to get to Episode 7 is allowed (For SMS)
-Blue Coins, Delfino or Secret Shine Sprites are not required (For SMS)
-Luigi is allowed (For SMG and SMG2)
-Getting star bits offscreen is allowed (for SMG and SMG2)
-Feeding the Comet Luma offscreen is allowed (for SMG)
-Bank Toad is allowed and can be used offscreen (For SMG2)

Q: Are you playing on console or emulator?
A: All games are played on console and will be played on Wii so that I have access to all games without having to switch consoles or capture cards.

Q: What is your favorite game in the series?
A: Super Mario Galaxy because I have the most nostalgia out of all of them. SM64DS is another nostalgic game as well.....Yes I did say that.

Q: What would be considered your worst game?
A: Super Mario Sunshine. This game sucks. It makes no sense and I don't know why I should play it but everyone seems to want me play it.

Q: Do you have any good beginner tips on how to get good at these tricks?
A: I highly recommend watching a variety of different people play because chances are, there are people who use a variety of different strats. Pick whichever one seems most consistent for you and practice off of it. Most of the strats you see from me are made up by myself only.
