- "I would be worried," Jack said as calmly as he could in the face of doom, "if we didn't have a little supernatural what-have-you of our own."
- With a triumphant sneer, Jack whipped out the watch. Very dramatically, he pulled the crown to stop time.
- But nothing happened.
- Jack tried again.
- And again nothing.
- He shook the watch, then noticed its face: the minute and hour hands were going crazy, spiraling in different directions around and around the face.
- "What now. Jack?" Fitzwilliam asked.
- "Well, Fitzyme-mate, I think it's time for good ol' Plan B," Jack said, delicately closing the watch and pocketing it.
- "We run," Fitzwilliam sighed tiredly.
