The sun sets. The sun rises. At both moments, both groups enter--though they see each other. The background is merged, not bright or dark, but a broken riot of blurring colors and terrain, massive cracks in the ground out of which pure energy is pouring. In the distance, the familiar Tower is separated from you, though currently unharmed despite the two massive vehicles, or the smoking ruins thereof, scattered near it, with people massed around fighting over who knows what.

You're trapped with one other, confronted by your equal number in Masque agents. They notice you, pokemon out... And a massive, grotesque hand rises out of the ground to swipe at all of you.
