┊BACKGROUND; alexander aeron song jun was born the middle child of a wealthy south korea family living in manhattan, new york city. despite growing up rich, he had good mannerism and was humble about his wealth. his parents both worked for cosmopolitan and he had a very comfortable lifestyle but he didn't like showing it off to his schoolmates unlike his younger sister ali who made it very clear to others that she was a princess in her family. he grew up being really close to his older brother niel and was greatly influenced by him. both especially shared a strong love for swedish house mafia so on xander's fourteenth birthday, niel bought him a dj setup so that they could produce and remix their own songs together afterschool while their parents weren't home. it went from a hobby to a passion and xander even made a youtube channel for it. in 2013, he was scouted by woollim to become a producer for them and his brother encourage him to take the opportunity. his parents let him move to south korea on his own to pursue his dream and 6 years later, he debuted as the leader and producer of a large new group called oasis.
