BACKGROUND.
minhyung was born to two extremely wealthy physicians in seoul, south korea. as a child, she was extremely spoiled and babied by both her parents. her parents always viewed her as a perfect, angelic child who was too good for the world and only deserved the best. she was homeschooled with a tutor who she often bribed to leave by giving him a couple hundreds out of her piggy bank. because of this, she was never quite the brightest bulb in the box but, her parents brushed this off as her being too smart for her own good.

minhyung’s parents were physicians, so they always had a logical explanation for everything. however, they could never seem to explain how minhyung had been able to predict the weather so accurately. she would often wake the two up and proclaim that she wanted to go out for ice cream. when her parents laughed and pointed out that it was the middle of winter, minhyung simply smirked and asked them to check the temperature; 105°! when minhyung was grounded and her brother wasn’t, it always would end up being the worst storm of the year, making everyone have to stay inside with her. it was a question as to why that her parents could never answer.

for minhyung herself, she found out she was capable of weather manipulation from a very young age. by the time she was sixteen, she was practically a master, able to change the weather in the blink of an eye. at eighteen she finally decided to tell her parents about her power. she took her family to a small, quiet cafe to break the news. she proudly stood up and proclaimed that she was able to control the weather. of course, her parents and younger brother burst into laughter. how could she control the weather? life was not a superhero movie, superhero powers do not exist! this reaction from her family enraged minhyung, who stormed out of the cafe, but not before her dramatic ass proclaimed,
“ i’ll show you! i’ll show all of you!”

that month was the month of the biggest storm in all of south korea. causing an estimated 1.7 billion usd in damages.

PERSONALITY.

because of her constant bribes to her tutor, minhyung isn’t too bright. she often can’t do basic math (numbers are not her forte). and, minhyung’s sheltered life and overprotective parents made sure she never really interacted with kids her age and therefore has a hard time picking up on lingo and is a fool streetwise.

minhyung’s parents always showered her with affection and love so, naturally she runs on it. seriously, if she hasn’t been hugged in over 24 hours, the weather is cold and rainy.

she’s literally the biggest crybaby you’ll ever meet. she was spoiled rotten by her parents and always got what she wanted no matter what. she gets angry and bored of things so easily. one minute it will be sunny, then the next there’ll be a thunderstorm.

obviously, minhyung is rich. she’s been rich and always will be THAT bitch. she knows that people are jealous of her wealth but, she likes it that way. making people envious of her is basically her job.

one of minhyung’s less flattering qualities is that she always is constantly talking about how great or rich she is. in every conversation, she has to bring it up at least once. she can tell that people get annoyed of her constant blabbing but, she can’t help herself.

she loves the beach. it calms her whenever she feels upset. something about that cool ocean breeze.
she was a dancer her whole life until she was eighteen when she injured her foot.

HOW THEY MET.
after minhyung stormed out of the cafe she had no means of transportation so, she decided to take the bus. at the bus stop sat taeil. his telepathy was able to give him insight on what had just happened to her. he turned around and said something like, “rough day?” and immediately minhyung burst into tears as it began pouring and thundering. her comforted her the whole time and even let her stay in his apartment until she could figure out where she was living.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS.
minhyung — she mostly thought he was just a VERY kind stranger who was willing to listen.

taeil — he knew how she was like him in a sense and felt sympathetic towards her, he helped her out because it was the least he could do.

RELATIONSHIP TIMELINE.
( beginning ) —
in the beginning, they lived together for a couple months until minhyung was able to get some money from her family to get her own place. they were mostly polite and friendly with each other and wouldn’t really talk outside of absolutely necessary interactions.

( middle ) —
once minhyung moved out, taeil found himself missing her. she found herself missing taeil as well. so, they called each other up and over time the two were basically inseparable. minhyung found herself developing a crush on the man. taeil obviously knew but never brought it up even though he had developed feelings for her too.

( end ) —
it was very late at night and the two were on taeil’s couch watching a movie. in the movie, there was a kiss scene between the two characters. taeil heard minhyung think, ‘that could be us, but he’s playin.’ taeil then took her face in his hands and kissed her. after that kiss, taeil admitted his powers which earned him a playful smack from her. they began dating soon afterwards.

RELATIONSHIP TRIVIA.
they like to play a game called “whats the weather today?” where taeil has to guess what minhyung will make the weather that day.
shortly after minhyung moved out, she moved back in with taeil.
minhyung’s parents don’t approve of her relationship with taeil. they feel like she deserves a man with more financial stability. minhyung couldn’t care less what they think though.
for their anniversaries and birthdays, minhyung goes all out; a sky of fireworks, expensive dinners, etc., etc.
minhyung says she never wants anything for her birthday, but taeil always tries to get her something meaningful, like jewelry or new shoes.
