  1. [20:42] "Get away from me, Vedran!"
  2.
  3. Controlled by the insatiate rage of the consumed potion, Aspen aimed to loosen his grip by writhing around at first and step away from the vampire, stumbling around the ground. Quickly, however, she picked herself up. The shards for her prowess aimed in his direction.
  4.
  5. A sudden shift in the sclera of her eyes from a white to a faint gray. Barely noticeable, unless closely observed.
  6.
  7. More of the woman's blood passed through the charred flesh, shrouding around her. She was panting, heavily fatigued from these actions, irate of her losses. The woman's pride was damaged.
  8.
  9. Her teeth grit. No attention was paid among those nearby spectating, but completely focused on Vedran. Her hand extended forward - a finger pointed towards the vampire.
  10.
  11. "Stay out of my fucking way."
  12.
  13. The wielded blade of blood, cracked from the pressure of the mages she couldn't best, was held forward, aimed at slicing through the... air?
  14.
  15. Yes! Before their very eyes, an intangible wall of the lifestream, of Eternia, was envisioned for Aspen. The woman believed the palpable wall was before her. Her gaze shifted from Vedran and towards the believed tangible surface, but it could be seen or assumed that her eyes remained set upon him.
  16.
  17. Energy, all that Aspen could muster up, even after the battles, was called for. Mana. Through the system of wires in the Invidia's circuits, Aspen forced it through, towards her hands, and along the blade, and if Vedran failed to stop her actions, the overly aggressive woman would attempt to cut through the palpable lifestream, creating a rift, to escape through.
  18. (Aspen Invidia)
  19. [20:57] Loosening his grip by choice, watching as she'd attempt to back away.. and the vampire was notably perplexed and concerned by her sudden outburst! But-- Disrespect like that? That wouldn't do at all.. Gritting his teeth, advancing undeterred.
  20.
  21. "Now! Aspen yer' not being very fucking nice." An understatement! Extending his arcanium blade forward at the Yano; her provocation irked him. Even more so, as she'd attempt to.. murder the air?
  22.
  23. Watching her slice at nothingness.. pitiful! Yet an indicator that something wasn't as it seemed; Recalling her last attempt to rip open the lifestream's fabric-- It dawned quickly, she was trying to run from him!
  24.
  25. "Oh no! I don't like runners!" Within a second, the Cainite's was gone; announcing his return with a swift and merciless strike to the Yano's forearm - Knocking her blade out of alignment, as gnashing teeth brushed against her exposed flesh..
  26.
  27. It became painfully obvious!
  28.
  29. She wasn't leaving and the erratic Cainite would've ensured it, swinging his blade in the Yano's direction - No choice remained except to face the Ivanovich in combat.
  30. (Vedran Ivanovich)
  31. [21:09] Aspen's vital blade was forced through the barrier. The shards of her prowess shot outward towards Vedran, failing to pierce the vampire. The man vanished, catching Aspen off guard. Her attempt to rip into the lifestream was a vague success, ceased with a slice at her forearm, causing her to drop her blade from the sudden shock of pain through her flesh.
  32.
  33. Aspen's arm pulled away just as his teeth brushed against her flesh. Oh no, she knew what he was attempting.
  34.
  35. The blood, the ice, the woman herself, all transformed into a mist, dispersing through the air and recollecting a distance away nearby.
  36.
  37. The blood of the fallen and from her gushing flesh glided graciously around her form along with a mixture of muddied water freezing back into the farm of shards.
  38.
  39. A new blade formed. Longer, larger, frozen with her vitality, accompanied with razor sharp winds. The continuous use of her mana caused further fatigue, which was apparent from the more pale flesh and drips of sweat along her burned skin.
  40.
  41. A flash of mana, her mahogany eyes gave off a dim illumination, gray sclera darkened slightly. Another spirit, another deformed entity emerged from the depths of its realm. The spirit realm. A dastardly, dark appearance fed by her regret, her hate. The loathe of the moment. Something wavering a cooler spiritual energy. Its spiked, heavy armors shifted with the other at either side of the Invidian thrall, scrutinizing Vedran with her.
  42.
  43. The woman stood, panting, waiting, anticipating Vedran's move. She'd have to be forced to face him in combat if she wanted to successfully get away, but would she manage in her current state?
  44. (Aspen Invidia)
  45. [21:15] ** Vedran Ivanovich has inflicted an injury upon Aspen Invidia. ("Temporary Injury", "Temporary Injury", "Temporary", "Duration: Medium (4 days)") **
  46. [21:34] Vapid hunger ensued, spurred on by Aspen's aggression and subsequent resistance.. "Stay still!" For once? Vedran didn't have that friendly tone or position towards the Yano, his tone was cold and unfeeling.. The man vanished, again.
  47.
  48. Despite her beleaguered state, the vampiric male didn't hold anything back, reappearing within a flash; Relentlessly carving at the woman's exposed skin.. followed by razor sharp pillars of ice erupting from the very ground they walked; desperately trying to skewer Yano. His scarlet eyes were illuminated and visible even from the enshrouding blizzard..
  49.
  50. Un-phased by her daunting and newly formed blade of ichor; shrugging off each successive strike-- Swing that sword with great enough speed, that the sheer air-pressure created blew Aspen backwards tumbling.
  51.
  52. Futile. Everything that the Yano did? Only incited the Cainite; enraged by the gall of it all.. a meek HUMAN had dared to assault him, attempting to skewer the Apropriyan?! That was beyond insulting, not a single punch was pulled..
  53.
  54. Darkened armor-clad gauntlets jabbed into her gut, then her cheek; It only ended when those metallic digits wrapped around Aspen's throat-- Hauling her upwards.
  55.
  56. All she could do was dangle there..
  57.
  58. "You pushed it, Aspen! You could've just been a good little thrall and NOT lash out.. so! Now? I have a drink." Malicious.
  59.
  60. Harshly yanking her head to the side and exposing her neck, Vedran didn't hesitate to bury his teeth inside as punishment.. she probably could've gotten away after he was done..
  61.
  62. (Vedran Ivanovich)
  63. [21:40] Artaghh says, "No comment."
  64. [21:57] Naught but pure anger, effects from the rage potion had yet to subside in Aspen's system. The stir up of conflict continued among the vampire and thrall, battling it out for her escape.
  65.
  66. Every clash against his blade was useless for her. The brittle blade of frozen ichor shattered from the force of Vedran, recreated repeatedly to stop him from slicing into her skin. Every ounce of blood removed from her body to conjure its use, or her abilities decelerated her movement until eventually Vedran caught up. Aspen couldn't keep up with his celerity anymore.
  67.
  68. No matter how hard she fought, there wasn't an opening for her to strike. The charred flesh, marred from holy embers, flurried the sharp pains between her joints. And accompanied with painful blows from his fist? There wasn't any use in fighting back, but in her will, the Yano didn't want to give up.
  69.
  70. Before she'd been able to act again, his digits wrapped around her throat before she was hauled upward. Aspen gripped at his arm, attempting to claw at his flesh to force him away, but there wasn't success in the action. Even kicking at the vampire wasn't helpful.
  71.
  72. Her head was forced sideways. The woman's eyes widened, the sudden pain of his fangs digging through her flesh was met with a yelp as he fed. How painful..
  73.
  74. There wasn't a method of escape, unfortunately, even if he allowed for it to happen. The Yano was far too drained of her ichor from the recreation of her blade, the endless abilities casted out against the mages of the peasants, and then at Vedran.
  75.
  76. But worst of all? The feeding. Aspen was drained of the most of her blood, leaving her on the ground, unmoving, and barely conscious. Her breathing was raspy from the lack of blood, and her skin as pale in comparison to Vedran's own. She had enough. Despite the effects of the potion still in effect.
  77.
  78. Aspen had no battle left in her.
  79. (Aspen Invidia)
  80. [22:01] Dashing through the plains south of Dawn, Zendrick was hunting for a straggler. He watched the battle earlier with the peasents on top of the mountain, waiting for one of the Legion to break off for a quick kill. But, his search turned up for naught. Prepared to return to the North, he went along his hidden path.
  81.
  82. ...until he saw his sister drained of blood by Vedran.
  83.
  84. Silently, he materialized a blade of Blood in his right hand. It flowed like a river of water, solidified by a blade of his own energy. A second blade formed behind him, circling his form and orbiting around himself.
  85.
  86. "What did she do."
  87.
  88. He spoke coldly. He knew Vedran; he'd never attack Aspen without provocation. The blades were simply a defensive measure.
  89. (Zendrick Boreale)
