Amazon Alexa is easy to set up with any Amazon Echo or third party device. First of all, Our OS should be compatible with Alexa.
Alexa compatibility with OS detail
...Fire OS 3.0 or higher
...Android 4.4 or higher
...iOS 8.0 or higher

If you device is able to use Alexa then next step is to plug-in your echo device and connect to power swtich.
Remember don't forget to on Wi-Fi network of your smart phone.

Required bandwidth of network(Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz / 5 GHz) networks that use the 802.11a / b / g / n)

Go-to now Alexa App setting and select your device and (select set up a new device)
Echo light ring will indicate you when you are connecting to Alexa(it changes blue to orange).
Note: first time it will take 4,5 minutes to connect

Sometimes you will face 6:1:103:10:3 error: This is bad password error message related to Wi-Fi connection. If you are trouble with this error code then you need to restart your echo device and router.
Also reduce Wi-Fi congestion (Remove devices from Wi-Fi network list that you are not using) Place away your echo device from other electonics devices.
Try to connect your device 5 GHz Wi-Fi frequency band if available.
Restart your Router and Echo device again.

For reset your echo device you need to hold and press action button avialble on base of echo device. When you press that button it convert orange light to blue. wait for sometime and then blue light turns in orange.
It indicate you are connected now.

After, Open the Alexa app to connect your Echo device by Wi-Fi network and then register to Amazon account.

Resolve 10:2:17:5:1 echo error

10:2:17:5:1 Common error in echo devices.

Do a factory reset and restart echo device and modem/router. This process allows you to set up echo device again including W-Fi and all setting.
