Focus of the chapter: establishing the existence of those who want to make NNM come to power and the fact there is a game plan in play

Shows the point of view of a group of ponies seeing the first light of dawn and being angered about it.(Assume this occurs after the destruction of nightmare moon.)

Introduction of the masked leader and the group (all robed in black clothing) who have been waiting for the return of nightmare moon to help her get to power.

The masked leader senses the large amount of magic given off by the group (so much that the magical phantasm of twilight, the elements, the sisters, and finally the remnants of nightmare can be seen) and figures out a plan.

Continue with the group slowly and tentatively moving towards the ruins, finding the castle empty and the remnants in place, confirming Masked’s suspicions and be content the situation can be salvaged.

They attempt to take them but the masked leader tells them otherwise.

They slowly make their way back, changing back into normal colorful selves, the mask one staying behind on the woods and teleporting away.
