[16:23] <~Kroked> Erina: Luna the sun rises, but it brings little comfort, you both didn't sleep well. not after last night
[16:24] <~Kroked> you both slept on the roof, While Nate lays in the hut
[16:24] <~Kroked> the villge around you has begun to stir, as the inhabitants begin to wake up and begin their work
[16:25] <~Kroked> one of you probably should go talk to the elder about work
[16:26] * Luna is curled up in a ball, her tunic removed and covering her completly
[16:27] * Erina is sprawled out on her stomach wings spread out and mouth open with a small amount of drool pooled under it.
[16:27] <~Kroked> you both slowly wake up, not feeling horribly rested, but unable to fall back to sleep either
[16:30] * Erina looks around to take in her surroundings before the events of the previous day come back to her, "R-right.....We're in the village again..."
[16:30] * Luna making no effort to remove herself from her makshift cave "Yep.. still here"
[16:31] <Erina> "Do we have anything we need to do today?"
[16:32] <Luna> "I dont know.. i was hoping granny would have some medicine or magic or something to help nate... but thats prolly a long shot"
[16:34] <Erina> "We could go ask her."
[16:35] <Luna> "..If its ok with you.. im just gonna stay here for a while.."
[16:36] <Luna> "Iv screwed up enough already.."
[16:36] <Erina> "Okay, I'll be back soon then."
[16:37] <~Kroked> Erina: you head off
[16:37] <~Kroked> Luna: do you do anything after she leaves?
[16:38] <Luna> (nope, just lay there)
[16:40] <~Kroked> Luna: you lay there for a bit, after awhile, you hear a soft thump next to you
[16:40] * Luna still under her tunic softly says "What did granny have to say eri?"
[16:41] <~Kroked> "I wouldn't know, seeing as I'm not here" says a fairly weak sounding familiar voice
[16:42] * Luna startled by the unexpected voice immiditly sits up
[16:42] <Luna> "What the hell nate! Your supposed to be in bed!"
[16:43] <~Kroked> Nate shrugs, reclining on the roof "I needed some sun, besides, I figured you'd be beating yourself up about last night"
[16:44] <Luna> "I-im not beating myself up over anything.. im just thinking alright.."
[16:44] <~Kroked> he awkwardly pats your back from his reclining position "You didn't do anything wrong"
[16:45] <Luna> "I sure as hell didnt do anything right either! I could of pulled you away and ran, i could of found some way to trap her, i could... i could.."
[16:46] * Luna says as tears start to build in her eyes
[16:46] <~Kroked> "It's fine Luna. even if it had killed me, I'm disposable. What matters, is that you and Erina are ok."
[16:47] <Luna> "...Please dont say that, your not disposable."
[16:48] <~Kroked> "I am, though, we both know that. this is just a temporary body. I lose it, I can just make another. You don't have that luxury"
[16:49] <Luna> "Then you would be lost who knows where again, we cant just discard you whenever the time suits us, im..were not like that"
[16:50] <Luna> "I should of had Eri pick you up and take off, i could of got her at range and everything would of been fine"
[16:50] <Luna> "Why didnt i think of that sooner.."

[16:55] * Luna face flustered and red, tears starting to fall "It is MY fault! Because of me you ended up.. like this.."

[16:57] <Luna> "And being the stubborn fool that i am, i stayed and try to kill that thing"

[16:58] <~Kroked> Nate slowly arduously begins to pull himself into a sitting position
[16:59] <Luna> "..Just lay back down.. your hurt enough"
[16:59] <~Kroked> "...I'm fine. Don't worry"
[17:01] <~Kroked> "But you. It's good that you're critical on yourself, but you can't just beat yourself up like this"
[17:02] <~Kroked> he places a hand on your shoulder "This won't be the last time something like this happens, I'm almost certain, and you can't let yourself breakdown everytime it does"

[17:03] <Luna> "It wont happen again next time.. ill make sure of it. Not like this.."
[17:04] <Luna> "If i would of just took a step back and thought about it i could of found a way.. instead i rushed in and got carried away"
[17:04] <Luna> "I wont let that happen again.."
[17:06] <~Kroked> "Everything's clearer in Retrospect, remember that. It's good to learn from your msitkes, but dont let that fool you into thinking you could have done anything better than. You did what you could with what you knew"

[17:08] <Luna> "But i panicked.. i was scared.. i could of done better then what i did"
[17:08] <~Kroked> "You didn't know what was happening, you didn;t know what it could do"

[17:10] * Luna silently nods
[17:12] <~Kroked> he slowly removes his hand, and than lays back down
[17:14] <Luna> "..Just get some rest.. and dont push yourself till your better.."

[17:15] <Luna> "You got blown up and covered in black ozze.. your not fine"
[17:16] <~Kroked> he chuckles weakly "Really, I'm good. I'm trapped in this body for now, but once it heals up. I'll be fine"
[17:16] <~Kroked> "..well, there's another way of course, and It'd definitly get me healed up faster"
[17:16] <~Kroked> "but..."
[17:16] <Luna> "How?!"
[17:16] <~Kroked> "...trust me, it's not something you want to do"
[17:17] <Luna> "If it fixes all this i dont see why i wouldnt!"
[17:17] <~Kroked> "Because, you might not see it that way."
[17:17] <Luna> "Spill it, how."
[17:17] <~Kroked> "No"
[17:18] <Luna> "I will strangle it out of you if i have to!"
[17:18] <~Kroked> he closes his eye's and put his hands behind his head "You don't want to know"

[17:19] <Luna> "Why would you not want to be better sooner, if i can do it i will!"

[17:20] <Luna> "..Ok, your right.. sorry.."

[17:21] <~Kroked> "If this shell dies, it free's the shard of my soul in it, letting it return to the whole"

[17:22] <Luna> "..Then you would just dissapear again and never come back.."
[17:24] <~Kroked> "...I admit, I'd be tempted."
[17:24] <~Kroked> "It'd be easier to just run away now"
[17:25] <Luna> "...I dont think.. i would take that especaily well.."
[17:26] <~Kroked> "Eh, you'd forget about me soon enough"
[17:27] <Luna> "Ya.. your right.. it wouldnt be soon after that id be gone too.."
[17:29] <~Kroked> "...don't say that"
[17:30] <~Kroked> "Please... don't say that"
[17:30] <Luna> "..Think about it, killing a dear friend is bad enough, and then knowing that person is still out there somewhere and nothing you will ever do will let you see them again?..Thats not something i could live with.."
[17:31] <~Kroked> "I'm not worth that Luna. I'm really not"
[17:31] <Luna> "You keep saying that... but you are worth it."
[17:33] <~Kroked> "They all said that, and yet, no matter what I did, who I protected, I couldn't keep the people I cared about most alive. A guy like that is worthless."
[17:35] <Luna> "But you never stoped trying.. even if it ended badly, you never stopped.. thats worth alot more than what most people do"
[17:37] <~Kroked> "I did though. after they were gone... I just kinda... distanced myself from people"
[17:37] <~Kroked> "Or tried to at least"
[17:37] <~Kroked> "You're proof I failed at that"
[17:37] <~Kroked> "Everything I try seems not to go how I want it to" he smiles wryly
[17:38] <Luna> "And were working on that remember? All those people you tried to save though, none of them would of wanted you to do what youve been doing. Being alone is not the solution to any of this."
[17:39] <~Kroked> Nate just kinda shrugs
[17:42] * Luna lays back down and scoots over to nates side, covering herself back up with her tunic "We will think of somethin..Itll get better"
[17:43] <~Kroked> "...maybe"
[17:44] <~Kroked> Nate slowly starts to sit up
[17:44] <Luna> "Hey, dont push yourself, your up here already.. just stay.."
[17:45] <~Kroked> "No, I bothered you, I should let you sleep..."
[17:45] <Luna> "Im not going back to sleep.. "
[17:45] <~Kroked> "You should, you had a rough night"
[17:46] * Luna pulls nate back down "And i said you should stay, so stay"
[17:47] <~Kroked> Nate flumps back down without much ressistance, he seems pretty weak
[17:48] <Luna> "Just stay like this for a while.. please.."
[17:49] <~Kroked> He hesitates for a moment, but gives in "Ok"
[17:55] * Luna repostions herself between nates chest and arm "Good.. just for a little while"
[18:00] <~Kroked> Erina: you are flying your way back. unfortunately, no spcial medicine. and no hunting needed done today either
[18:02] <Erina> "Nothing to do today......No medicine either....."
[18:02] * Erina lands a bit away from the hut intending to walk the rest of the way.
[18:05] <Erina> "Lunaaaaa! Naaaate! I'm back."
[18:06] * Luna still laying down "Up here Eri! The idiot got out of his bed.."
[18:06] * Erina flies up to the roof.
[18:06] <~Kroked> you see Nate and Luna
[18:07] <Erina> "A-am I interrupting something?"
[18:08] <~Kroked> Nate seems to have fallen asleep
[18:08] * Luna sits up "Nah, just talkin. Can you carry this idiot back down to the bed please? We should prolly chain him to it or something"
[18:08] * Luna pokes Nate "And it looks like hes off doing whatever again.."
[18:09] <Erina> "Actually...I think he's actually sleeping this time...."
[18:09] <Luna> "Huh.. really?"
[18:09] <Luna> "He said he couldnt sleep.."
[18:10] * Erina checks to make sure his soul is still there.
[18:10] <~Kroked> Luna: you recall he said he didn't need sleep
[18:10] <~Kroked> Erina: it is
[18:10] <Erina> "Yeah....he's still in there."
[18:11] * Luna says softly "Wow.. thats even more reason to get him down there, think you can do it without wakeing him up?"
[18:12] <Erina> "I can try. Oh! And I think we can go get some chains from the shop or the blacksmith."
[18:13] * Luna still quite as she can be "I was just joking eri.. kinda"
[18:13] <Erina> "Oh....hehehe..."
[18:14] * Erina tries to gently pick up Nate and take him inside.
[18:14] <~Kroked> Nate's out like a light
[18:14] <~Kroked> he doesnt wake up
[18:14] * Luna follows the two, grabs onto the ledge and hops down with tunic in tow
[18:15] * Erina gently lays him down on the bed before heading outside again.
[18:15] * Luna puts her tunic back on "Any luck with grany?"
[18:16] * Erina shakes her head, "No I'm sorry...."
[18:16] <Luna> "Ah.. damn.. knew it was a longshot, thanks for going and checking though."
[18:17] <Erina> "So, how's he doing?"
[18:17] <Luna> "...Hes doing.. better, i think.."
[18:17] <Luna> "Well hes doing good enough to hop up on the roof by himself atleast"
[18:18] <Luna> "His head still needs work though.."
[18:18] <Erina> "At least there's a bit of good news.....I hope he's better soon..."
[18:19] <Luna> "He will, i know it"
[18:20] <Erina> "Well, we have the day off. What do you wanna do?"
[18:21] <Luna> "Looks like we still got some daylight left, and he should be out for a while.. hopefully.. ill leave it up to you. Dont really have anything in mind myself."
[18:22] <Luna> "Feel kinda bad for yelling at you so much last night.. so really, whatever you want is fine with me"
[18:22] <Erina> "We've got no hunts, can't travel, we already looked at the shop......I'm out of ideas
[18:23] <Luna> "Thats actually a surprise, Adventurer Eri has nothing she wants to do.."
[18:24] <Erina> "Why don't you choose this time? It's usually my job after all."
[18:27] <Luna> "Im in the same boat though, and this place is kinda small. Figured you would come up with somethin"
[18:27] <Erina> "We could.......explore the town I guess? We never got to see much."
[18:28] <Luna> "That sounds good, ya."
[18:29] <Erina> "Oh and don't worry about last night. None of us were really in the right state of mind....But um...thanks for comforting me at the start....never was good around dogs."
[18:30] <Luna> "Its alright.. you did the same before that with those icky spiders, guess were even"
[18:31] <Erina> "So....shall we go explore the town then?"
[18:31] <Luna> "Ya"
[18:34] <~Kroked> you spend the day exploring... it's kinda boring
[18:34] <~Kroked> most interesting part was the smith
[18:34] * Erina asks about the weapons he makes
[18:34] <~Kroked> he showed you a bunch of things he can craft with metal and animal bones and teeth and scales
[18:35] <Erina> "Is there anything you can do with the fangs from the spider queen?"
[18:36] * Luna pulls out the blackred chunk from the other night "I got this thing too, any chance its useful?"
[18:37] <~Kroked> Erina: the little wizened man takes a look "Hmmm, I could, but I'd require some Iron and malachite
[18:37] <~Kroked> he looks at what Luna has and frowns "I'd have to examine it"
[18:37] * Luna hands the man the chunk "Thats fine, was starting to stink up my backpack anyways"
[18:39] <Luna> "Take your time if you need to mister, were the two new hunters in the old hut if ya need to find us"
[18:39] <Luna> "Names Luna"
[18:39] <Erina> "H-hey Luna. I've got an idea of what we could do today."
[18:39] <~Kroked> he nods "I've hears"
[18:40] <Luna> "You wanna go diggin around in the dirt tonight eri?"
[18:40] <Erina> "Um, Mister. Any chance you know where we could get some Iron and Matchalacallit."
[18:41] <~Kroked> "If ya check around the caves around here ya might find some. You'll need a pickaxe though"
[18:42] <Erina> "Where can I get one a those?"
[18:42] <Luna> "Wouldnt happen to have one around here we can borrow or buy would ya?"
[18:43] <~Kroked> he shrugs "Nobody sells them here anymore, not since the last hunter died, and lost our stream of supplies
[18:44] <Erina> "Well that's a shame...."
[18:44] <Luna> "...Yyou mean we have to go.. back into that cave? Cant eri here just use her sword as a pickaxe? Shes alot stronger then she looks."
[18:45] <~Kroked> the little man laughs "And ruin the ore?! ha! not only that, but it'd do a number on yer sword!"
[18:45] <Luna> "Aww.."
[18:45] <Erina> "C'mon Luna, the spiders are all dead anyway. I checked!"
[18:46] <Luna> "Spiders can lay anywhere between 50-300+ eggs Eri.. For all we know that place is crawling with them again.."
[18:47] <Erina> "The entire place was frozen....And the queen's dead."
[18:47] <Luna> "I-if you say so.."
[18:48] <Luna> "Hey, wait, do you think that greedy trader guy might have one mister?"
[18:48] <~Kroked> he shrugs "You mean Geralt? Maybe, I doubt it though"
[18:49] <Luna> "The cave it is then i guess.."
[18:49] <Erina> "But we need the pickaxe before we can go to the cave to get the ore...."
[18:50] <Erina> "Is there any way you can make one?"
[18:50] <Luna> "The supplies would be where that hunter was last, wouldnt it?"
[18:51] <Erina> "All I found in the cave was that fur outfit....I checked the entire cave while you were outside with Nate."
[18:52] <Luna> "Oh, ok"
[18:54] <Erina> "So um mister, any chance you can make a pickaxe? We can pay you for it."
[18:56] <~Kroked> "I'd need rock and some bone at least"
[18:57] <Erina> "And those can be found....."
[18:57] <Luna> "In living and dead things and on the ground.."
[18:58] <~Kroked> "Correct"
[18:58] <Erina> "So.....Luna, shall we go gathering?"
[18:59] <Luna> "Sounds like a plan, there any type of bones/rocks you need inperticular mister?"
[19:00] <~Kroked> "Nope, just bring whatever you can, but make sure the rocks are big, big enough to fashion a pick axe out of"
[19:00] <Luna> "You should be able to carry something that big, right eri? You lugged around Nate like he was a doll."

[19:05] <Luna> "Nice, how bout the bones mister? There an animal graveyard or bonepit around here anywhere?"
[19:06] <~Kroked> "Not especially, you should able to find em scattered about, or if ya like, ya can just kill somethin"
[19:06] <Erina> "I'm guessing it needs to be big?"
[19:06] <Luna> "Ya.. was trying to avoide that part, but we will keep an eye out thanks."
[19:07] <~Kroked> "Big would be nice, but if I need too, I cant strap several together"

[19:11] <Luna> "Sounds good, i kinda want to drop off my tunic too if were gonna be scaveging around.. its been though alot latly"
