Note about spreads:  We will be using the SPORTSBOOK.AG spread weekly.  I will screenshot and post the spreads every friday morning/thursday night at MIDNIGHT on the facebook page, but I strongly encourage you to keep track of them as the week goes on.  If you choose to bet on the THURSDAY night game in any week, ALL of your picks for that week will follow the THURSDAY lines.

RULES:

-Each team will start with 10,000 monopoly dollars.

-If you run out of monopoly money, your team is out.  If you'd like to buy back in, see below.

Week-by-week rules:
-You MUST bet on four games per week, or be assessed a penalty of 20% of your current cash
(For example: If you have 10,000 dollars and choose to not bet on week one, you will lose 2,000 automatically)

-Each game you bet on must have a minimum of a 100 dollar bet.  All bets must be in 100 dollar increments.
(For example: You could bet on four games at 100 dollars a piece each week, or one big dollar amount, such as 5,000 dollars, on one game, and then 100 on three other games.  Just make sure you bet on AT LEAST four.  You can bet on every game every week if you so choose).

-Your picks should be either texted to Jacob or myself, emailed to [email protected], or posted to the facebook page by 1 PM on Sunday every week.  If you're late, your team will be penalized TWENTY PERCENT of your current dollar amount in the regular season, or FOREFIT in the Playoffs.

-Betting payouts work as follows:  If you bet on Cleveland vs Pittsburg, and Pittsburg is -3, you are betting on Pittsburg to WIn BY MORE THAN THREE POINTS.  If you bet on Cleveland, you are betting on them to LOSE by LESS THAN 3, or WIN the game outright.  If you bet 500 dollars and win, you double up.  If you lose, you lose your 500 dollar bet.  If the spread is Pittsburg by 3, and they win by 3, the game is a PUSH, and you will keep your 500, but not win/lose anything.

PLAYOFF RULES
-You MUST bet on every playoff game.  As there are 4 games in the wildcard and divisional rounds, 2 in the championship rounds, and one in the super bowl, you are REQUIRED to bet on every playoff game.

-The team with the most money AFTER the Super Bowl wins the league

PAYOUT STRUCTURE:

Regular season champion (the team with the most money at the end of week 17): 20%
LEAGUE CHAMPION (the team with the most money at the end of the Super Bowl): 40%
Second place: 20%
Third place: 10%
Fourth place: 5%
Fifth place: 5%

If there are, for example, 50 entrants into the league, that is 2,000 dollars of prize money.  The payouts would look like this:

Regular season champion: $400
League Champion: $800
Second place: $400
Third place: $200
Fourth place: $100
Fifth place: $100

The more entrants, the larger the prize pool, obviously.

Standings:
I will keep an updated talley weekly as to your totals and rankings in the league.  All picks will be public upon request so everyone knows nobody (including myself) is cheating.  If you have a dispute over a pick you made, please let me know and we'll get it resolved.

Late buy in/REBUY - You have until Week 9 of the NFL season to buy into this league.  However, if you skip week one, you will lose 1,000 monopoly dollars from your starting stack ($10,000).  So, if you buy in AFTER week 2, your team will start with 8,000 monopoly dollars.
