- I've been following the developpements around coretime pricing on the forum and on Twitter, and I decided to reach out.
- First, looking at the technical side, how the cores were acquired, especially the coordinated bot system, was clearly very well executed. That shows real skill and understanding of how Polkadot works, and maybe there could be ways to collaborate constructively in the future.
- Your specific focus on figuring out the "fair value" of things stood out to me. It definitely reminds me of some detailed talks about coretime pricing that took place on the Polkadot forum not long ago:
- https://forum.polkadot.network/t/introducing-coremarketcap-a-next-generation-crypto-industry-leaderboard/4194
- https://forum.polkadot.network/t/adoption-metrics-treasury-spending-and-roi-open-discussion-thread/2081
- From our perspective, working often with the Fellowship and community, our main goal here isn't just to find the highest market price. It's more about making sure key parachains stay operational and acting responsibly for the whole network's stability.
- Keeping that responsibility to the Polkadot community in mind, I'd like to propose a revised figure of 750 DOT per core.
- I hope this offer helps us settle this matter quickly for everyone involved, without the need for the whitelisted caller. Please let me know if this works for you.
- Best regards,
- Karim
