Yes I would. But publicly distributing the mod without permission is not the right thing to do, because he doesn't want it to happen. He made it, he can release it under his own terms (idc if that's rooted in law or not). Here's another analogy. SirSengir is handing out pamphlets or something. Billy gets a copy of the pamphlet from SirSengir. If Billy wants, it's okay to, say, draw penises on his copy of the pamphlet. If he wants, he could even show his friends. But if he took his pamphlet covered in his drawings, made a bunch of copies, and started handing those out, that's different. That's not a good thing to do. Comparing Technic Pack to doodles of penises is a bit of a harsh comparison, but you get my point.

He had a notice about not redistributing his code. If he had had to say "hey guys, stop using my mod", it'd be like (sorry for all the analogies) if the lifeguard had to yell at the kid who just ran past the rules sign that says "no running". just saying.

I wasn't trying to just say you guys are idiots and suck stupid face butt poop or whatever. I have legitimate opinions for why you guys shouldnt be so harsh on SirSengir. I presently them somewhat angrily because I read the first two pages of this thread, in which you guys said that SirSengir sucks face butt poop or whatever (I recall a comment that literally said he sucks dick or something). I don't think you guys are being fair to me or to SirSengir.


Alright, I have to go so my attempt to reply to every argument will have to be abandoned. Hopefully someone will at least think about the things I've said.

I don't think I know everything. But if I had written Forestry, I would have felt the same way SirSengir does. I'm sorry I started this flame war. I should have stopped to think before wailing out my immediate reaction to what had been said about SirSengir. I just think it's not right to use people's mods without their permission, and  to hate on someone because they don't want you to have that permission.
