- [21:10] How long it had been since he stood here.
- A glance over the small crowd which had gathered. Far off from what it once was. A crowd which stretched far beyond the square of Osrona to hear what the Lightbringer, or King had to say.
- Well, they were all dead now, weren't they?
- He'd clear his throat after giving stragglers time to gather.
- "Welcome, citizens, councilmen and woman. Acolytes, warriors, Teraphims, otherwise."
- To digress.
- "An announcement to be made for The Vigilant Watch." Obviously.
- "The Vigilant, now, is the replacement for what once was The Order of The First Light. The reason being that, The Order of The First Light has failed the people of Osrona for the final time. The Petrakis bloodline has failed.. for the final time."
- Enough.
- "Those who stand with me now stand for the change that Romani has envisioned. A chance to unite, a chance for peace. A chance to put the past behind us and move forward as one."
- A glance about those present.
- "Generations ago, The Vigilant was a sub-faction within The First Light, formed by Valero lux Montclaire. He shared this vision, he united the people of Osrona. Rich, poor -- he didn't see it. He recruited some of the first members from the Sudbury district, and he made a change for Osrona."
- A nod.
- "Now we make a change again. Unifying beyond what even he envisioned."
- "We stand as one now, and as a Coalition, we cannot falter. Osrona will be reborn anew, better than before, because.."
- "We give compassion without weakness.
- The path we walk will define us.
- And life will reign, even in death."
- The teachings of those he considered greater than himself. Now clearing his voice he'd speak bluntly and clearly.
- "Who stands with the revival of Osrona? Who stands with me?"
- (August lux Astor)
- [21:15] Ella stood, her eyes closed yet she was still very much looking within the crowd. A small show of heads, or perhaps smaller than an expected outcome under Alexander's rule. Yet she continued to watch, listening to the speech. It was great, it was true.
- Yer perhaps the druid could have a little word in this as well. Perhaps a woman, that rose from nothing to something. A woman who was once Osronan too. A small necklace with the sigil of Biblos embedded in it.
- "The people of Osrona, have suffered enough. Yet through the ash rises the crops. We can turn what was once under the rule of someone cruel, into something real. Into something bigger." The woman trying to give a bit of encouragement here.
- "Osrona is your home, Alexander does not represent this. This land does. With your help, with keeping the peace. We could continue to build this city to a glory former than its past self."
- She smiled, nodded her head. Allowing August to finish.

- [21:20] The resurrection of her home kingdom sounded nice; a land without a king felt even nicer, for all sorts of personal reasons, but she does have her doubts about the whole thing.
- That's why Piper lifts a hand into the air, aiming her bronze gaze at the pair on the stage--she also hops up onto the bench, as to raise herself to an even greater height.
- "Lovely ideas, but I got a quick question--."
- And she barrels into it, without waiting for a nod or any sort of acknowledgement:
- "...I heard, in the, oh."
- How to say it?
- "The loyalist camp, that the old king was forgiven by Maltziel himself."
- "How will you be handling this knowledge?"
- Or, perhaps, it's been dealt with elsewhere? In some secret, leaderly place? She's got no clue. But she wants to know--.
- (Piper)
- [21:27] The woman would stand on stage as the small question was asked. She would like to answer this one.
- "Forgiveness is not all absolute. Just because the angel forgives Alexander, does that mean he should get your forgiveness too? The angels above don't live your lives. You do."
- "Do you forgive Alexander for what he did?"
- The Mistseer shrugged slightly.
- "That's all that matters." She concluded, folding her arms.

- [21:33] A nod given to those who had risen to stand beside him.
- "I see."
- "There will be no more kneeling. It is a thing of the past. Your oaths will be spoken by your actions. When I move to avenge our people, if you stand with me, you have done enough. Time will reveal your loyalties."
- Then to Piper.
- "Maltziel? Forgives him..?" He scoffed a bit, stifling some laughter.
- "I don't stand here for Maltziel's will. Alexander, Del -- they moved with faith that Maltzlel would back his claim. That The Petrakis were blessed, that he could not fail."
- He cracked a smirk.
- "'Do not waver August, Osrona has not fallen, and it will not fall.' "
- He quoted Alexander.
- "What a fool he was. If he was the chosen savior? No amount of forgiveness will correct his failures. He will not ever grow into the Crown which was handed to him. So no, on behalf of the thousands who died -- I do not forgive Alexander. The blood is on his hands, Osrona fell for his pride. How will I handle this?"
- His expressions were as dull and blunt as ever.
- "I'll have him pay for what he's done, despite any forgiveness. He has lost, he is in a corner. He bides his time until he faces the true judgement of Helheim. He is a failure, and it cost us everything. There is no forgiveness for him."
- A nerve was stricken it seemed, and Alexander was his stepson. Regardless, he meant what he'd said.

- [21:40] He nodded, seemingly no one had much to say.
- "That is all then. They will likely strike while we rebuild, and we'll be ready."
- Then he stepped down the stairs.
- "Vigilant, prepare yourselves. The time to back your claims will come soon."
