opening - blackstone informs the crew that a series of raids on colonies in a local system, involving pirate crews. interest due to self repairing ship.

arriving at the colony where the raid was unsuccessful, they meet director kyle and supervisor ericsson. kyle informs ran on the situation, ericsson leads investigation efforts.


d. kyle is a female  human, serious, driven, mot receptive to flirting in the heat of the moment.

s. ericsson is a male augmented human, cybernetic arms. noticed the self-repairing, and that the bodies that had been around before had vanished.

the colony has stores and amenities.

upon investigating the ship, they'll find that the pirates have been reassembled by the ai core. combat will be against the captain, body 5 attack 6, and three of his crew, body 3 attack 3

as they identify the pirates as captain raines and the  ship as theStar Scourge, they'll receive a message that the Star Scourge, is attacking another colony, headed by the first mate.

the attack on the colony is a race against time. the ship is going to destroy atmospheric shielding and asphyxiate the colony if the RW doesn't stop them. the Star Scourge is an agile, combat capable craft, with 5 body, and a +4 combat roll.

boarding the craft is an option, and will lead to a fight with the first mate and 8 crewmen. the first mate has thr same stats as the captain
