Practice biking

Covet: Felix had his helmet on and was talking to Steph via the bluetooth on the helmets, because talking to each other and communication was important. He was going along slowly and making his way in and out of the light posts, leaning into his turns to help with the balance of the bike. "I think I'm getting the hang of this now. It's supposed to be easier with speed right?" He asked her.
Alexithymiaa: -Since she was sticking to not being cleared to drive yet, she was sitting in the grass with her helmet on so she could listen and talk to him, watching him drive in circles on the bike. "Right. You look good. Very natural. Why don't you try a sharper turn?"-
Covet: "I can, I just didn't want to tip the bike and scratch it. I would feel like crap seeing as you know we just got these yesterday." He told her but tried working on getting his turns sharper, leaning into them further. " How's it looking out here. Do you want to take a ride with me for a couple loops?" He asked her over the mic.
Alexithymiaa: "You're not going to scratch it. You'll be fine." She said with a laugh, keeping her eyes on him as she watched him ride by again. "You look great. Uhh..." She trailed off, pursing her lips and shaking her head. "No, I'm fine. Just keep practicing. You need to practice since you'll be able to ride yours before I can ride mine anyway."-
Covet: "Yeah, but I dont' want you to feel left out too. I'll just do big circles and nothing super fast..." He told her as he moved around the parkinglot. Besides I think this experience would be way better with your arms around my body. " He told her goading her.
Alexithymiaa: "I don't feel left out." She said quickly as she kept her eye son him. "I just... think it would be better if you practiced without any distractions. I don't want your learning to be muddled by me being on the bike with you."-
Covet: "Steph I've been at this all night. I'm pretty comfortable with just the parking lot. Are you nervous about riding along with me?" He asked her, as he made his way back around to where she was sitting at. He pulled the bike up to a stop and pushed the kickstand down as he leaned over to let it rest on it before taking his helmet off. He stayed sitting on the bike though.
Alexithymiaa: "What? No, of course not. I used to be on a bike all the time. That's ridiculous. I just haven't been cleared to ride yet so I don't think it's a very good idea. At least until Andre thinks so." She pushed, pulling her own helmet off to set down in her lap. "I just don't want to jeopardize any progress I've made." Lies.-
Covet: "I thought you just weren't clear to drive. Riding is different. He asked her. How about you just come sit on it with me then? That can't harm anything right?" He said to her as he scooted back on the seat. " you can even face me."
Alexithymiaa: "Riding and driving are the same." She chewed on her lower lip, staring at him on the bike. "I don't even know if I can get on it...." She started, pulling herself up to her feet and leaning on her crutch.-
Covet: "C'mon, we son't know until you try." He said. "I'll help you and make sure you're stable. You'll be safe." He said in a more reassuring tone. as he held his hands out for her for when she got over to him.
Alexithymiaa: "Just... don't go anywhere." She said in a small voice as she limped over to him, standing next to the bike. She leaned the crutch down to the ground and grabbed the front of the bike to keep herself upright, considering how to get her leg over the bike since she couldn't stand on the bad one with her weight so that had to be the one that she swings over. "I can't..."-
Covet: "I'm not going to." He said, "I promise." He watched her as she looked at the bike then said she couldn't. He climbed off of the bike and walked around to help lift her up over the seat so that she could get her leg over. Felix looked her over as she sat there on the bike, "There, that better?"
Alexithymiaa: "Wait wait wait!" She panicked as he lifted her up and helped her onto the bike. She exhaled deeply with relief as she sat on the bike, glancing down at her knee and then back up at him. "I'm on."-
Covet: "Yeah, you're on. I'll help you get back off too. Don't worry." Felix told her as he then climbed on behind her, but didn't go anywhere, just leaned it up off it's peg so it was level. "I know it's not quite your size, but how does it feel?" He asked her with a smile over her shoulder as he wrapped his arms around her.
Alexithymiaa: "Like I have absolutely no leverage." She said quickly, her body a little tense as she glanced at her knee again. "Mine is a little shorter. And the seat isn't as big." She swallowed hard, her hands holding tightly to the handlebars. "You better not take your feet off the ground."-
Covet: "I won't, You're good. We're not going anywhere. So you don't have to worry about any of that." Felix told her with a laugh. just sit here with me and hang out for a second. Relax." He told her as he sat the bike back down on the kickstand so that he could wrap his arms around her waist, "Just envision yourself on yours while you can." He told her.
Alexithymiaa: "I will. When I'm cleared to ride mine. I just don't want to take any chances until Andre says it's okay." She glanced over her shoulder at him, settling back into his arms. "Are you happy? Like... with the bike and everything right now?"-
Covet: "I know, I appreciate that you are following the doctor's orders." He told her, then he leaned over to give her a kiss, "Absolutely happy. With you, with where you're at, where we're at, and the bikes. It's good right now." He told her, giving her another kiss.
Alexithymiaa: "I don't actually think he's a doctor. If he was a doctor I don't think everyone would call him by his first name." She smiled when he kissed her, moving her arms to wrap around his. "Me too. With everything."-
Covet: "Well, you know what I mean. Brat." Felix told her as he poked her side a little. " Good, I'm glad. I know it's taken a bit to get to this place, but I'm glad we're here." He told her as he just held her close sitting on the bike with her, enjoying the moment.
Alexithymiaa: "I know. It was work, but everything that's worth it is. And you are so very worth it. This is very worth it." She said with a smile, tipping her head back so she could look at him. "I feel like I'm finally comfortable to just be... here. In the moment."-
Covet: "I hope you are here for a very long time. Regardless of what life throws at us. More positive thoughts, comes to more positive outcomes. So if we can build on all of this, I think we'll get you into an even better place in no time, all on it's own." Felix told her with a happy grin looking back at her.
Alexithymiaa: -She reached for his hand, curling her fingers around his. "I see lots of more positive things in our future. Only good things on the horizon for both of us. Speaking of which, have you heard anything about the gallery accepting your work?"-
Covet: "Oh yeah, I did. I totally forgot to tell you about it with everything recently. They are accepting my work and they are planning on doing a small showing of some local young photographers. I guess there is going to be six or seven of us that have been picked up." He said with a grin, before yawning.
Alexithymiaa: "Arizona, that's great! See! Only good things for us. Did you tell your mom? I'm sure she wouldn't want to miss your first big gallery show. Oh, we should celebrate."-
Covet: "No I haven't yet, but I will call her tomorrow. She'll defnitiely be here for it though. It's supposed to be like a week long walk through event or something." Felix told her waving his hand, "We can definitely celebrate, but first I think it's time we get home." He told her . [Which I just realized I have no idea how they got down here... but... eh... semantics? XD]
Alexithymiaa: (The house is close because river. She probably insisted on walking.)
