  1. [03:28] Katzan Xizoh says, "Joanne."
  2. [03:28] Katzan Xizoh says, "I believe Amoxtli gave you what I wanted her to."
  3. [03:29] Joanne Stiller asks, "...She showed me it. Why? Why would you do that?"
  4. [03:29] Katzan Xizoh says, "I'll take no chances of seeing the controller in his hands."
  5. [03:30] Katzan Xizoh says, "Having my arm like that was as good as having no arm."
  6. [03:30] Joanne Stiller says, "I'M the one with the controls for it, Katzan."
  7. [03:30] Katzan Xizoh asks, "And what's to say he wouldn't snag it?"
  8. [03:30] Katzan Xizoh asks, "And you know that even inactive... It still dampens the mana flow, don't you?"
  9. [03:30] Joanne Stiller says, "Because he knew I wouldn't give him it."
  10. [03:30] Bune whispers something.
  11. [03:31] Katzan Xizoh says, "And yet you gave him my arm."
  12. [03:32] Katzan Xizoh says, "And now, he's planning on making a weapon with it. To defeat me."
  13. [03:32] Katzan Xizoh says, "To stuff it with metals or whatever, I don't know how Amoxtli got the details."
  14. [03:32] Joanne Stiller asks, "...I-- What? I didn't give him it... I left it with Amoxtli and she... Why?"
  15. [03:35] Joanne looked distressed at this point, there was a point where she felt somewhat betrayed, but now, far more so. That's what Amoxtli meant, that's why she said Eiphraem wanted the bones. This was all so wrong, so stupid. Was it futile now? She didn't know.
  16.
  17. "He--- I-I didn't even see the arm until recently!"
  18. (Joanne Stiller)
  19. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  20.
  21. [03:39] Tizoc says, "Boy I am feeling halfway to energetic crafthold square. Its time to get off my stool and float in the air."
  22. [03:40] Tizoc buckles forward and then slowly begins floating in the air thanks to gravity magic.
  23.
  24. The nagual then straightens up his posture before floating off towards the east a few feet, then floating towards the west until he is out of vision.
  25. (Tizoc)
  26. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  27.
  28. [03:41] Katzan quirks up an eyebrow. This made no sense. Amoxtli said that Joanne decided to give it to him, and yet... There it was. She refused that guilt, and a quick glance was thrown to the surrounding people, most who apparently watched the duo, or at least he thought did so.
  29.
  30. A frown came to his eyebrows and lips, before he inched a step closer to Joanne. His head dipped down slowly, yellow irises looking straight into her face, intensely.
  31.
  32. His deadpanned voice echoed in an unusual hushed tone. "Amoxtli told me that you were the one who gave it to him. I told her to give the arm to you. As proof." And like that, he looked down.
  33.
  34. His frown intensified. His emotion was palpably leaking through his greyish flames that surrounded him. "She was... Tricking me?" And they seemed to sum up one thing: Anger.
  35. (Katzan Xizoh)
  36. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  37.
  38. [03:43] Isaiah blinked. He saw this coming, and decided to speak up.
  39.
  40. "You mind controlled her and forced her to do your bidding. Are you really surprised she'd turn around and backstab you once she realized what was going on?" He questioned, crossing his arms. There was no foul intent in his voice- Rather, he seemed just... Average, as usual.
  41. (Isaiah Dawn)
  42. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  43.
  44. [03:50] "A-Amoxtli wouldn't... Why would she..." She murmured quietly. It was the same thing as before, but worse because it felt like people were, at this point, using her. It felt like they didn't trust her to make her own decisions, especially considering what she and Eiphraem had talked about not too long ago.
  45.
  46. In the end, it wasn't only Katzan that was being backstabbed, it was Joanne. The fact that Amoxtli would actually go up to Katzan and lie about what she did to redirect blame was extremely upsetting. But there was a reason she could think of, even if it was even more distressing. "Eiphraem..."
  47.
  48. That thought was almost too much for her now-wholly stressed mental state to handle. Katzan may have made eye contact, but there wasn't much there other than an all-consuming strife, the internal conflict that was tearing her mind apart reignited.
  49.
  50. Well, that was one way to ruin her day.
  51. (Joanne Stiller)
  52. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  53.
  54. [04:01] Katzan threw a sideways glare towards Isaiah. Obviously, he wasn't going to be concerned with rabble, and everything in his expression said just that. A quick exchange of words should be enough to tell him one message, to make it clear once and for all.
  55.
  56. "Do not push my mercy, blonde." He said, spitting these words with utter disgust for the man who got himself a kind of attention that he shouldn't have.
  57.
  58. And after that, he turned to Joanne once again. That look of concern in her face wasn't comforting for him to see in the least. He approached in closer, his sole hand slowly caressing her collar as if analyzing the material.
  59.
  60. "Don't worry, Joanne. This changes not much but what I will have to do with them. This whole situation will be solved, and now... I even have the means for it." He smiled slightly, letting out a rigid giggle, reminiscent of a cynical approach. "You saw my talk with Tragedy. I am easy to notice. And I'm sure that there are a lot who would love to know what I discovered."
  61.
  62. A shake of his head, from side to side. "But for the archon to lower his level as to build a weapon made of myself... Pitiful. I'll have to oversee this. I doubt anyone is capable of doing a weapon deserving of me."
  63. (Katzan Xizoh)
  64. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  65.
  66. [04:06] Kang mumbled with a tired expression, "Why's everyone gotta be mean to eachother"
  67. (Kang White)
  68. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  69.
  70. [04:17] Red eyes turned towards Isaiah, but not with any negativity that one might expect from such a color. Instead, they almost looked pleading, as if begging to cease before a violent situation started. If anything could make this worse, it was someone deciding to pick a fight. Her eyes slowly lowered.
  71.
  72. "Why would Amoxtli do this? Why would he... do this?" She questioned lowly. Rationalizing it was harder because of the fact that she was used a scapegoat. She understood why Eiphraem did it, at least somewhat, but to have them actually use her as an excuse hurt.
  73.
  74. The hand wasn't refused, Katzan was allowed to get closer, maybe only because Joanne was trying to cope with this, maybe not. The black-haired human female just... seemed almost catatonic. She was already dealing with enough stress from previous conversations, but it was being coped with, until now.
  75.
  76. It was really hard to deal with being the source of many issues.
  77. (Joanne Stiller)
  78. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  79.
  80. [04:19] Zamara slowly walked over and gently patted Joanne on the back. She said nothing as she stood near her friend.
  81. (Zamara)
  82. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  83.
  84. [04:21] Isaiah doesn't really say anything from there on in. He had no reason to dig a grave.
  85. (Isaiah Dawn)
  86. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  87.
  88. [04:29] Katzan looked as Zamara approached, his scowl perhaps getting bigger. Weird. And yet, something about her stroke as rather familiar to him. Maybe the odd neutrality to which she carried every single act that she did.
  89.
  90. One word was muttered between his lips, yellow irises focused on her. "Copycat." He said, still straightening Joanne's collar. The touch got a bit more rigid, a press between his fingers that was probably unfelt by the woman.
  91.
  92. And like that, he looked back onto the woman in front of him, obviously the focus of his attention for now. Her attempts at resisting, which to him seemed more than futile, were something so graceful in her. Something in which he saw a toy.
  93.
  94. "Fear not. I'll solve this situation, Joanne. I've told you." And like that, his body literally glowed with his own self confidence. Index finger landed under her chin, and slowly, he guided her head up, almost as if forcing her red eyes to meet his yellow hues.
  95.
  96. And with that, his voice took on a potent tone, words spoken slowly as if to give her enough time to take each one in separately. "Trust in me."
  97.
  98. There was no positivity. No negativity. It was as neutral as every phrase that he could say, and yet, it emitted the potency that he intended with it. It was filled with his own confidence, and through it, boosted by his own magic, it emitted the same.
  99.
  100. However means he had to use, he knew that he would get over it. And this was more than obvious. He had done it before, why not do it again?
  101. (Katzan Xizoh)
  102. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  103.
  104. [04:33] Context? No. Knowledge? No. RACISM? HELL YEAH HE'S QUALIFIED TO JUDGE THIS SITUATION. The Tyrium-plated Neries squinting at the Foul Gehennan and the upset Valmasian.
  105.
  106. "Pray you're not causing dissent, scum-blood.
  107.
  108. Crystal-blue eyes just staaaaring as he goes about whatever this business is.
  109. (Sima Kang)
  110. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  111.
  112. [04:34] Zamara says, "Sima, be quiet please."
  113. [04:44] Isaiah rolls his eyes as he watches the display before him, shaking his head in clear dissapointment as he glances over to Tragebee.
  114.
  115. "You don't have to eat, Tragedy... But... Whats your favorite tasting food?" He question, trying to spark casual conversation to break his gaze from the person in front of him, clearly not impressed by his power to be...
  116.
  117. Really creepy, in Isaiah's eyes.
  118. (Isaiah Dawn)
  119. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  120.
  121. [04:47] What was she supposed to do? In the end, it felt like those close to her weren't trustworthy at all, nor sincere, but she could remember that moment very well. What was essentially begging from something that should never plead for anything. The reason that she trusted Katzan on this was not blind faith, but the fact that Amoxtli admitted herself what the arm was being kept for.
  122.
  123. Joanne's friends were betraying her and trying to avoid the blame using others, but how she could trust anyone if she couldn't trust those closest to her. Her chin was slowly pushed upwards and her eyes met Katzan's. A singular word came to mind as it began to piece together.
  124.
  125. Escape.
  126.
  127. She had to escape. Her understanding of motivations for forbidden powers had come a fair way since talking to a particular Necromancer's family, but she still didn't quite grasp Katzan's reasoning, nor his full capabilities. Joanne however did understand one thing, that he had influenced Amoxtli magically and yet she still talked to him.
  128.
  129. A step was taken back, though through no help of Zamara's. Like a scared animal, Joanne wanted to leave and hide, but it wasn't helpful that she had to contest with other desires.
  130.
  131. Another step was taken as she tried to get some distance, one movement at a time, though it was possible she wouldn't be allowed to, and she didn't break eye contact while trying to move.
  132. (Joanne Stiller)
  133. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  134.
  135. [04:48] Zamara slowly slides infront of Joanne, then folds her arms as she looks at Katzan.
  136. (Zamara)
  137. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  138.
  139. [04:59] Katzan quirked up an eyebrow at the first signal of her trying to back out. The first step, which took her head out of his chin, got a look of interest from him, to say the least. But not of the right kind. Not of how he liked to have his interest caught.
  140.
  141. Perhaps she had noticed this once, while she was around his tribe. That look of utter reprobation. He was, more than anything, disappointed. She couldn't see it in him, that he sought to keep her safe from that harm which they were causing.
  142.
  143. He frowned slightly as she continued retreating, the arm falling back down to under his coat. He let out a low growl, perhaps a bit angered that she dared to refuse his word.
  144.
  145. But he knew. "This will all work out, Joanne. You'll see." Of course, he was opening his mouth to say something else with the same dead tone, but Zamara had to slide in front of him. With folded arms.
  146.
  147. He looked down at her, and a scowlformed up on his face. Almost as if growling, he spat out a few words at the Accursed's face. "Don't. Interrupt. Me. Vermin."
  148.
  149. He did not care for Joanne any more, his attention totally focused on the offender in front of him.
  150. (Katzan Xizoh)
  151. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  152.
  153. [05:02] Zamara simply stared at Katzan. She didn't care what was going on she simply said, in her usual monotone voice.
  154.
  155. "I will interrupt whom I wish. If Joanne does not wish to be near you, she will freely walk away." Her face remained blank throughout everything as always.
  156.
  157. "If you are done here, then go."
  158. (Zamara)
  159. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  160.
  161. [05:02] Clank. Clank. Clank. The old Neries has stomped his way to behind...
  162.
  163. Well. Perhaps he's an offender. Perhaps not. He's just happy to have an excuse.
  164.
  165. "Think it's time you left the girl alone, boy."
  166.
  167. Perhaps this would even be good for Joanne, really. He hasn't the faintest idea. He just knows who this is. There's this faint sound of sliding metal, as his hungering tyrium blade leaves its scabbard just an inch.
  168.
  169. "Hate for someone to get upset."
  170. (Sima Kang)
  171. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  172.
  173. [05:03] Dante grabs Joanne by the shoulders.
  174. (Dante Janus)
  175. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  176.
  177. [05:03] Dante Janus exclaims, "JOANNE!"
  178. [05:03] Dante Janus says, "I NEED A FAVOR"
  179. [05:03] Dante Janus exclaims, "MORE LIKE A SOLID!"
  180. [05:04] Katzan Xizoh says, "You say that I am the one upsetting her and t--"
  181. [05:04] Katzan Xizoh says, "... I know who that fucker is."
  182. [05:04] Katzan Xizoh says, "YOU KILLED TRISTAN."
  183. [05:04] Zamara says, "Somnus killed Tristan."
  184. [05:04] Dante blinks as he pokes his head from behind Joanne
  185. (Dante Janus)
  186. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  187.
  188. [05:04] Dante Janus says, "Huh.. Must be getting popluar, I have never seen you before."
  189. [05:04] Dante waves at Katzan as he flashes a grin.
  190. (Dante Janus)
  191. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  192.
  193. [05:04] Dante Janus says, "Waddup man~"
  194. [05:08] Bad timing, that's all this was. As Joanne backed away from Katzan, Dante came up yelling and she bumped into him. Fear and internal strife overlapped with desperation and magic was cast, she turned and fired off a huge beam off water, aiming straight for Dante's upper body to attempt to blast him away.
  195.
  196. This was not a good time to sneak up on Joanne, nor a good time to be Joanne. She didn't even control most of what she did at this point, it was the inner conflict she felt that dictated her responses to be violent.
  197.
  198. It was a kind of torment she didn't want to deal with.
  199. (Joanne Stiller)
  200. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  201.
  202. [05:08] Adjusting the strap on his rifle, it seemed poor Katzan here was surrounded. Chewing on something his mouth, Isaiah would stare forward at the actual Katzan, before nodding to himself.
  203.
  204. "Aye. Gotta agree with the rest of them. I think you might have overstayed your welcome here in Crafthold, friend." He said. Aha. It was one of them pieces of hay in his mouth, like the ol' cowpokes.
  205. (Isaiah Dawn)
  206. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  207.
  208. [05:09] Dante flys away as he's blasted away by a torrent of water. Dante later comes back floating as he spits water out of his mouth.
  209. (Dante Janus)
  210. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  211.
  212. [05:09] Dante Janus says, "Well then..."
  213. [05:09] Dante Janus says, "That was..."
  214. [05:09] Dante Janus says, "FUCKING AMAZING"
  215. [05:09] Dante Janus says, "Anywa."
  216. [05:09] Dante Janus says, "vampire slayer."
  217. [05:09] Dante Janus says, "I see that your shop has more than one hundred acorns."
  218. [05:09] Dante Janus says, "Do me a solid and lend me one hundred."
  219. [05:09] Dante Janus says, "I'll pay you back as soon as I get my shit back."
  220. [05:09] Dante Janus exclaims, "They have been taken hostage!"
  221. [05:09] Dante Janus says, "And I need one hundred acorns to get them back~"
  222. [05:09] Dante Janus says, "So how about it."
  223. [05:09] Zamara says, "If Tochan wants something from me, they buy it just like everyone else."
  224. [05:09] Dante Janus exclaims, "!!!"
  225. [05:10] Katzan Xizoh whispers: That... Asshole... He's...
  226. [05:10] Katzan Xizoh says, "He killed Tristan... And now he's even annoying her."
  227. [05:11] Dante Janus says, ". . ."
  228. [05:11] Dante Janus asks, "Mmm, what's happening?"
  229. [05:11] Zamara says, "Dante did not kill Tristan, Tristan attacked him, and lost. Then tried claiming Tochan robbed him so we would attack them, truth potion revealed Tristan was the thief."
  230. [05:12] Katzan Xizoh asks, "Well, and you know what?"
  231. [05:12] Zamara says, "He was excecuted by lord Somnus for repeatedly endangering members of the dreadguard who were under his command."
  232. [05:12] Katzan Xizoh says, "The world would be a better place with a backstabber like Tristan instead of a retarded guy like this one."
  233. [05:12] Dante stares at Katzan as he becomes tempted to yell in their face and say FAKE NEWS
  234. (Dante Janus)
  235. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  236.
  237. [05:12] Zamara says, "Tristan was an idiot and i'm glad he's dead."
  238. [05:12] Dante Janus asks, "Didn't you burn down Tristan's house because you learned of their betrayal?"
  239. [05:12] Dante Janus says, "That's what I heard."
  240. [05:13] Zamara says, "Sorry you lost your puppy Katzan, now get going."
  241. [05:13] Dante Janus exclaims, "And hey! I take offense to that!"
  242. [05:13] Dante Janus says, "I'm not retarded... just semi- retarded."
  243. [05:13] Dante pouts
  244. (Dante Janus)
  245. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  246.
  247. [05:14] Joanne seized to opportunity to begin escaping. She inched around Zamara, aiming to slowly move past Katzan and then towards the west. Her eyes remained on the blue-haired male for a brief period as she tried to pass him.
  248. (Joanne Stiller)
  249. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  250.
  251. [05:15] Katzan Xizoh says, "I'm just..."
  252. [05:15] Katzan Xizoh says, "I can't be around this idiot. I feel my brain dying."
  253. [05:15] Katzan Xizoh says, "I'm going to Atl."
  254. [05:15] Dante waves off Katzan.
  255. (Dante Janus)
  256. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  257.
  258. [05:16] Dante Janus exclaims, "Save travels!"
  259. [05:16] Katzan Xizoh says, "It's SAFE."
  260. [05:16] Dante Janus exclaims, "Don't trip over a stump now!"
  261. [05:16] Dante Janus exclaims, "FUCK!"
  262. [05:16] Dante Janus says, "I mean safe."
