- Preheat waffle iron.
- 3 potatoes, slice in thirds lengthwise to fit into the food processor.
- Using the shredding attachment, feed the potatoes into the food processor.
- Place shredded potatoes in strainer and run cold water over them to rinse off starches.
- One handful at a time, squeeze and wring out the shreds and remove them from the strainer to a bowl.
- Sprinkle garlic powder & onion powder, mixing well into the potatoes with a spatula.
- Place in waffle iron and cook for 2 minutes. After 2 minutes press down on the lid and then cook for an additional 8 minutes.
