  5.
  6.
  7. +MsKickup __ I'll add it to my Dropbox (it's about 800MB) and make a link available privately (just in case "Reds Rhetoric" wants to flag my Dropbox link).
  8.
  9.
  10.
  11.
  12. It might take a day or two for me to finish uploading it (I have okay download but slow upload speeds).
  13.
  14.
  15.
  16.
  17. *One or more of us should go through it and add time-markers.*
  18.
  19.
  20.
  21.
  22. __
  23.
  24.
  25.
  26.
  27. *The following is something I think would be very handy to have.* And I hope we are moving in this direction.
  28.
  29.
  30.
  31.
  32. __
  33.
  34.
  35.
  36.
  37. It would be *extremely handy* if we got a video - say a 1 hour video - and a couple of us then added time-markers.
  38.
  39.
  40.
  41.
  42. For example, three people could focus on 20 minutes each from the video. 0 to 20 mins for person A, 20-40 mins for person B, 40-60 mins for person C.
  43.
  44.
  45.
  46.
  47. That way only 20 minutes of an individual's time is needed to make detailed notes and time-markers for an hour-long video.
  48.
  49.
  50.
  51.
  52. (Although this video is 5 hours - it would require a bit more time.)
  53.
  54.
  55.
  56.
  57. __
  58.
  59.
  60.
  61.
  62. What would be even better is that each person does two "20 minute" chunks.
  63.
  64.
  65.
  66.
  67. And have it so that two people cover the same 20 minute time period.
  68.
  69.
  70.
  71.
  72. Person A does A and C's chunks.
  73.
  74.
  75.
  76.
  77. Person B does B and D's chunks.
  78.
  79.
  80.
  81.
  82. Person C does C and A's chunks.
  83.
  84.
  85.
  86.
  87. Person D does D and B's chunks.
  88.
  89.
  90.
  91.
  92. That way - *what one person misses stands a chance of being caught by the other person.*
  93.
  94.
  95.
  96.
  97. *And what is important will be more likely mentioned by both people.*
  98.
  99.
  100.
  101.
  102.
  103.
  104.
  105. I am thinking out loud - if there were enough of us - we could also rotate so that we only had to make an effort every "couple of videos".
  106.
  107.
  108.
  109. Until there are enough of us we could just decide which videos to focus on (not do every video - just the important ones).
  110.
  111.
  112.
  113.
  114. Eventually it would be great to be in a position where we can examine footage rapidly and break it down into detailed time-markers for future reference.
  115.
  116.
  117.
  118.
  119. This would be especially useful for examining the so-called "opposition" Hangouts like "Reds Rhetoric" and "Jeff C" etc.
  120.
  121.
  122.
  123.
  124. At the moment there aren't enough of us to do this. But it would be nice to be able to do this at some point.
  125.
  126.
  127.
  128.
  129. *_Come on universe - f_kcing deliver._*
  130.
  131.
  132.
  133.
  134. For example - "NASA" might post a 30 minute video and literally within 5 to 10 minutes we could have a detailed set of notes and time-markers and all of the "potential editing points" mapped out.
  135.
  136.
  137.
  138.
  139. *Certainly - as more of us come along for the ride - that is what we should look at doing.*
  140.
  141.
  142.
  143.
  144. >>> Breaking down a longer video into smaller assigned chunks - and having each person do two random chunks so that we catch as much as possible. <<<
  145.
