1st attempt at Dream Walk

"So . . . I was thinking and I need some help. I've been trying to develop this ability. . . A ability that can help me get stronger. Well in a way."

"What I've been trying to accomplish is to somehow bypass my way into someones memories. Into their past somehow. Experience what they experienced and find out what they saw or did. I've been trying to develop it but I need some help as to going on about it. Got any ideas?" he said as he put away his sword and placed both hands on his sides.

 Memory

Daran would sit back and think of the past. How he first started off in the forest. Starting trouble and fighting everyone who he could see come his way. Then he met the yokai. How the two battle and he was beaten into working for the beast. A fate would never forget and that would make him hold many grudges against yokai.

Then he remembered meeting Deo. The blind kid who was kind to him. Even after defeating Daran who was ordered to fight him.Yet, he would remember the kid and the yokai who he never heard from that day free him. The teen was indeed thinking of the past. How he came to be till this day as a solider.

"Really that sounds amazing. I can tell you that of a child named Deo. He was a skilled fighter. The Sarradian guy who magic was hard to deal with. To tell you the truth he was blind also. Even with being blind he managaed to do things i was to afraid to do."

He would then look at Glave.

"Glave i have belief you will become great. I will help with progress as much as you need me to. I could also reflect on many others i have met. Yet, he keeps popping in my mind when i see you. Maybe because you close to resemble a Sarradian. The marking you have and stuff."

It was a time when Daran would need to go further into things.

 It seemed that as he stated his question, Daran was lost in thought. Which made Glave smile, he wondered what the older teen had went through to get to such a strong point in life. What obstacles he overcame and difficulties he pushed through.

But in all honesty, it was what made the man what he was today. A kick ass green haired knight. Crazy right?

Walking over to a stalagmite. He pushed his body against it so he could lean upon it. Waiting paitently for the older teen to snap back into reality, he didn't want to rush the very man that has been so benefical to him. So helpful in anyway and even thought of him to be greater than he actually was. It was hard to come by people like this.

Watching Daran snap out of his short trace, Glave felt pretty good that he acknowledge his attempts of doing something that he once thought to be impossible. It really boosted his self esteem.

'I was right. . . he was thinking about Deo eariler' he thought as he listened to the tale of Deo.

Which made him think just how strong the blind boy was. He wondered just how strong he was. If a mere kid was able to take on Daran, and by what the knight had said. Deo had seemed to be somewhat of a saint. A person that was merely impossible to run into nowadays. It would be pretty amazing to actually meet the very boy who Daran was talking about. It would truly be an honor.

"Thanks man, and thanks for telling me about the blind Sarradian. I appreciate it. Your a true friend man." He said with utter honesty. Daran could of resembled this Deo guy he was talking about. But instead, Daran made Deo seem to be even greater than him. Which was surprising to him.

"Heh. . . Well I dunno. Maybe it's beacause we look alike haha." he mentioned as he pushed himself off the rock.

"Where is this Deo gu-" he asked by suddenly realized that Deo was probably missing or dead. Or else Daran would've probably asked if he'd like to meet him or something along those lines.

"Ehh. Would you like to help me now. Maybe I can try to use the ability to see through your memories and see how great this Deo person is huh!?" he said, trying to break any awkwardness he might have brought

A Maze

Daran would nod as he didn't mind the guy seeking through his mind. All the times he was around the guy. Glave was trust worthy. He would see things but nothing to heavy. Daran would only allow the memories of all the moments he had with Deo to be allowed. everything else would be blocked off from the child. Daran couldn't show him everything.

"Go nuts Glave. my head is all yours. Except things i will not show. You will spot him once you look. Don't worry i'm gonna have to understand how different you are one day. So don't make this weird just get it over with."

He would then place his head down and wait.

Such how things were going. Maybe it was time he went to the other side of the wall. Yes, he was going to have to push up his training. Challenging the things ahead of time.

Hesitant as he stuttered

Daran had actually allowed for him to dev deep within his mind and see if his dreams could come true. Was this real?

Reaching outwards with his hand open towards the teen's head. He was afraid. What if he went to far into his mind. What if he messed up and something bad happened. What if he scrambled his mind and messed him up.

Afraid beyond all else, he was actually routing for a no. But deep down inside, he truly did want to experiment with this.

So swallowing deeply, he couldn't let Daran down. So he couldn't fail now. Walking over towards Daran, he actually had to raise the man's head.

"Your eyes have to be open. Eye contact has always made my illusions more effective. So if something does go wrong. Try to close your eyes. But I'm not going to lie. It might be hard for you as you might be driven into a trance of sorts. . . I'm not sure yet." he said honestly as he reached out with both hands and placed it on either shoulder of Daran.

With a straight face, he calmed his breathing. Looking deep into Daran's eyes as he concentrated on his mind. If he could bring out the imagine of someone's loved one and have them see him as that very person. The one they trusted the most. Glave could certainly do this. There was no doubt about it.

The mana within him started to pump in a fluid motion a bit more rapidly than normal, then it was pratically burning from within him. He felt his entire body heat up to this as he concentrated on Daran's mind. Trying to find something about this Deo guy.

"Try to imagine Deo. . ." he said breaking away from his concentration for a while before getting back to it.

Silence unfolded as Glave got to work. Going deep within Daran's mind, he tried to find a memory about this blind sarradian. Not that he's ever met one. But still, he could still tell a blind boy from one with sight. But at the same time as he searched through the teens memories. He didn't want to just bring it forth and present it as if it was a reply. No. He wanted to put himself in Daran's place.

Which after about an hour. He finally found the image.

Bringing the memory to life, he was suddenly placed within a familiar place. A place that had wildlife all around him. But for some reason. He couldn't move. All he could do was see what was around the area. It was then that a small dark skinned boy appeared infront of him. A boy who wore a elaborate straw hat and had cloudy eyes.

'Deo' he thought as he stared at the infamous sarradian that Daran had spoken so much about.

The boy seemed to hold so much life witin hi even though he was blind. What a person. . . .

It was then that Deo would open his mouth to say something but nothing came out. What was this he questioned. Suddenly the visions that he was having started to fade in and out, as they twisted around into each other in a mind bending way. Suddenly all the colors faded out and left him in darkness. It was only then that he saw a faint flame in the distance. It was as if he was now placed in an endless dark cave, and the only light source was at the far end of it. It was then that Glave saw the light source come towards him in a quickened pace. Clueless as to what was happening. Glave watched as the light source grew closer to him. It was only time that the light source was blazing flames came about in a ferious blaze as it came at him. Feeling the burning impact of the flames. Glave reeled back in pain as he tried to get away. But it was only then that he saw a figure come out of the flames. A monstrous, gigantic, meancing creature erupted out of the flames as he bathed in its source. The creature had to be several stories tall as he stared at him with its multiple beedy eyes as if it was going to kill him itself.

Watching the gigantic fire giant look down upon him. Glave raised his right arm to reduce atleast some damage from him. But it didn't matter as the flames were too great.

'What is this?' Glave thought as he stared after the beast whose voice shook the very grounds.

It was then that his vision was clouded with fire as the beast itself breathed out fire upon him. Ignited Glave and causing him to scream out in pain as he felt his very being burn up and almost making him become roasted alive.

The very memory of Grunitherche made Glave fall backwards in reality and hit the ground as he patted at himself in agonizing pain. Trying, screaming as he felt as if his entire body was burning badly as he moved around franticaly on the ground until he noticed that there was no flames. But his body was still in pain.

His skin turned a lighter pink as he looked at his skin. He felt as if he was actually there in that moment. Which was an amazing thing! He was halfway there!

But as for the burns. He still felt them as he clenched down his teeth in pain. Trying to ignore it but it was just far too great.

"Aaahhh" he groaned as he tried to push himself up from the ground so he could atleast stand. But the pain was just to great. Keeping him down on the ground.

Gruin

Daran would feel the sensation begin. He would look around as if he was a kid once more. It was strange as he didn't know how to react. He looked at himself and was amazed. He would then look around for Glave. Where the hell was he at? Still he would feel his body take him along the path. As if he was not the one in control. As he walked he would see Deo.

It was strange to see the guy again. Though as he reached out he saw him.

Daran would see the monstrous figure of the yokai The creature soon talking to him and calling him weak and pathetic. Daran would then charge to only be burned and beaten. Yet, he felt no pain as it had came it had gone. Daran was shocked at the sight of it.

He would then realize he still feared the creature.

His eyes would snap open to see Glave running over to him he would begin to heal him. It was bad looking as his body was heated. The feeling of pain would fade from Glave soon. Though Daran would shake his head.

"Maybe we should take this one step at a time. You rushing yourself into some dangerous territory. We should not try this until you feel prepared. also what did you see?" He would gaze awaiting the answer.

Quickly being healed and recovered by Daran. Glave smiled weakly as he pushed himself up to sit down with his legs sprawled outwards infront of him.

It was the harsh truth but Daran did have a point.

"I guess you have a point heh. . thanks by the way. " he mentioned for the burns that were relieved.

"Well. . . . . I think that I saw the one who you call Deo. A dark skinned boy like me with cloudy eyes and a straw hat?" he questioned

"Then. . . I saw this giant creature. . . One who was like. . . made out of fire. The mere sight was insane. . ." he mentioned. " It then released a huge wave of fire on me and I felt as if I was going to die from the intense heat. . . then, I broke apart from your memories and here we are" he mentioned as he shrugged.

"Sorry if I went to deep inside of your memories. . I didn't know what went wrong. " he said

Deo

So he saw the man. That was good for the child as now he would go on a path. Something about Glave was quite shining for Daran. The two could easily see eye to eye on things. Maybe the guy was best to be around more than anyone. Yet. Daran knew that soon he would have to do things alone. Dangerous things.

"No worries Glave you were just needing to see what you want. Yet, the mind is a powerful thing. My memories are very strange. Not as bad as others. I could only nit imagine what will happen when you go into anothers mind. Only could say good luck to that."

He says with a chuckle as he finish healing him.

Mentioning the fire creature Daran would nod.

"Yes, Gruin i hope to never see another one of him. Did you know i met a fish girl who was force to eat another human parts. The girl had nothing else to eat. It sickened me to this very day. I found out he made his 'slaves' fight one another close to death. I was glad to be saved from that."

Daran would hear the apology and wave his hands. It was not needed as he was hoping to get some type of closure of things. Maybe one day he would finally do something that would be impactful.
