Candybags: Instructions

***Using the script:

Candybags was originally a Halloween freebie item from a few years back. The user placed a script in a pair of non-rigged prim breasts and some prizes in a HUD, and when another avatar touched the prim breasts, the HUD sent them a prize.  For those of us who still have a pair of the early style prim breasts, these scripts will allow you to pull them out once or twice a year as a novel way to share prizes with friends and fans.

The easiest way to determine if you can use this script is to see if you can resize your prim breasts (with the "Edit" tools) while you're wearing them.  If the breasts can't be resized without using a resizer menu, or the appearance menu, this system will most likely not work for you.

Rez a copy of your sculpt breasts or non-rigged, non-fitted mesh breasts to the ground.  Right click the breasts and select "Edit".  When the "Edit" window comes up for your breasts, click the "Contents" tab.  You will need to drag the script named "Touchable Prim Breast Script v1.0" to the "Contents" window. Once the script is in your prim breasts, change the name of the breasts to a name that will distinguish it from the prim breasts already in your inventory (for example you might rename "Lolas:::Tango:::Updated" to "Lolas:::Tango:::Candybags" to indicate the prim breast object that contains the script) .  Right click your prim breasts and "Take" them back into your inventory.  You can now wear the prim breasts as you will not need to add anything more to them.

***Using the HUD:

If you're creating Candybags from scripts at Pastebin.com (or another script library), you'll need to construct a Candybags HUD.  The reason for a HUD is simple, the fewer things cluttering the inventory of your sculpted (and presumably scripted) prim breasts, the easier things are to troubleshoot.  The script in the breasts transmits the touch information to the HUD, and the HUD does the rest.

Creating the HUD is simple...create a notecard called "Dialog Button Menu" and copy and paste the information in Candybags "Dialog Button Menu" Notecard into your new notecard.  Create a script and paste the information from "Candybag HUD" into the new script.  Rez a prim and place the new notecard and a few prizes (promotional objects with "next user" permissions set) into the prim's inventory.  Put the new script into the prim's inventory. Take the HUD prim back into inventory and use "Attach as HUD" to find a spot to attach it to your screen. Adjust it for size (preferably making it as small as possible) while wearing it, and you're all set.

To give out prizes in the HUD, simply wear it.  The HUD should be in the top center of your screen and is set to communicate with your breasts on a unique channel.

***Editing the HUD

Drag the HUD to the ground and right click it.  Select "Edit" from the menu.

You can add new gifts to the HUD to be randomly given out.  Right click the objects you wish to remove under the HUD's "Content" tab and select "Delete."  Drag the objects you wish to add to be given away as prizes into the HUD's "Content" window.

If you wish to change the dialog menu that comes up when your breasts are clicked, open the "Dialog Button Menu" notecard.  You may change the message, and the text for the buttons in the notecard.  Follow the example, only one line is used for the message, you will need a separate line for each button, and lines beginning with ## are not included in the dialog menu.

NOTE: The script is designed to ignore the owner's touches, so touching your own breasts after putting the script inside will not give you a dialog menu nor a prize.  This is to prevent the "Touchable Prim Breast Script" from interfering with scripts that your prim breasts need to function properly.  If you'd like to test the system, ask a friend (or several friends) to touch your breasts for you.

This system will NOT work for fitted mesh or rigged mesh breasts.
