Colossal Mayhem

It was a warm sunny day on Earth when the meteor hurtled through the sky. Crazy Dave watched as the meteor, with a few flashing lights, smashed into a mountainside a couple miles away. He called his surveillance plants, including Rescue Radish and Rotobaga, to investigate.

Sadly, the zombie heroes noticed this too. No one really cared, except Neptuna. She was bored of the ocean and decided she needed something new to swim in, something other than water. (She later went on the learn that this wasn't a great idea.) She rallied up an army, but decided she was missing something. Sports were nice(she liked fit guys), Gravestones were cool(She loved surprises), but she needed something new. Then, an amazing idea struck her. She quickly called up Immortica, and soon, the duo approached the crash site with an army of Sports, Mustaches, Gravestones, and more!

As they neared, they noticed that the meteor had actually opened up a cave, and had fallen all the way through. Neptuna willed her servants to bring her closer. She peeked over the edge. Inside the cave was a lush forest, with a sparkling pond and-and plants. It was just the grass, but a plant nonetheless. Suddenly, a pair of teeth slashed her left servant into pieces. The radish dinosaur leaper up in front of her, but she bashed it aside with her trident. So there were plants here!

Quickly, her other servant pushed her next to Immortica. She quickly informed her of the situation as the plants below gathered themselves. There were all kinds of prehistoric plants, some resembling dinosaurs, others which seemed to look like plants that dinosaurs ate. It was as if time had stopped in this cave.

Immortica sent a scout group of bats ahead. They reported back with what Neptuna had already told them. These primitive plants were an enigma. No matter, they would be destroyed just the same. Then the bats hit them with a shocker. The cave was actually a whole island, with tribes of plants living in different areas. There were 12 tribes, each made to protect a Mustache Monument, for if these Monuments were aligned, they could be used for the evilest of things. She decided to flood this plant infested place and call it her new home.

Before entering combat, she sent out elite teams to retrieve the Monuments for her. They set out on their mission to gather up these sacred Monuments and defeat whoever was guarding them. Then, the plants and zombies clashed in battle.

The fight raged on for hours, with Dino-plants ripping through zombies and prehistoric spinach shredding through almost anything. The zombies were on a losing side, a key factor being that they had underestimated the spinach. It seemed to go berserk, and tore through a group in seconds. Defeated, Neptuna and Immortica had to retreat with the zombies they had left.

While tending to her wounds, a group of 5 women approached Neptuna. They claimed that had spotted a few dinosaurs, which, surprisingly, were not plants. Anything would help their current situation, and so she allowed them to go in each of these dinosaurs. They returned a few hours later, four of them atop different dinosaurs. Gadget Scientist was quickly able to construct a robotic dinosaur for the last warrior.

Neptuna decided she would try again. She would not stop until she had flooded the whole cave. This was her dream! Finally, something other than the salty ocean! All sorts of annoying Conjure fish and Cancer plants lived in there, and they were starting to get to her head.

The next day, they attacked again, but this time the plants weren’t ready. They were quickly dispatched by the new addition of dinosaurs into her army. That horrible Spinach was nowhere to be found.

Over the course of several days, her elite teams returned to her with the Monuments(heaven knows how they brought them back). Finally, a week after invading, she had all 12 Monuments. With her dream fulfilled, she flooded the cave.

All sorts of new creatures grew in these waters, from Valkyrie crabs to microscopic Ramp plankton. She liked this change. Gone were the waters of the past, in were the fresh life of a new ocean.

She wasn’t satisfied though. Everything was so slow, she wanted something fast, something entertaining. It was then that she discovered Disco. The meteor had taken a few Disco Dance Floors with them from space. Soon, little Dancing Eels began to populate her ocean. She was content.

The surveillance crew returned to Crazy Dave and told him the situation. They introduced him to Savage Spinach, who they had rescued from impending doom. Savage Spinach told him everything.

Hollow Earth, which is what most plants called the cave, was a area of land buried under rock in prehistoric time. Time seemed to stop, and the plants seemed to mutate, to change. Soon, they formed small tribes and started villages.

Now, Neptuna has flooded the place. There would be little to no survivors. Yet they had to fight back. Savage Spinach was optimistic that they would find a few survivors willing to fight and reclaim their homes.

Crazy Dave sighed. At least he could try and find an ancient taco. And that would be worth the while. He decided to agree to help.

The duo peeked their heads out for the bush. The figure sharpened its claws in anticipation. Both knew the other was there, but neither dared to move. Suddenly, the Velociradishes realized who it was. They leaped out and tackled Savage Spinach. He hugged them, then got serious and briefed them on what had happened.

He brought them back to Crazy Dave, who planted them with their other dinosaur plants friends, including a carrot with horns and a bean with fins. Savage Spinach looked over the group. Aside from the dino-Plants, he had retrieved a few other plants, such as a pea patch and a coconut who was under the impression that he was king.

Finally, having healed and recovered, the small group of plants, only a hundred so in number. Set out to take back their home. Before he left, Savage Spinach requested to take Rotobaga with him. Crazy Dave reluctantly agreed, though now he would have to replace him with Skyshooter, who, truth be told, couldn’t fly at all.

“Wait, what’s your name, Spinach?”

“Call me Frost.”
