Amelia's a pseudo-beacon from the getgo. She originally wanted to become someone "better" in some ways, and that's more or less what her magic was doing. It's fire. It uses /fuel/, ie: her soul to make a flame, ie: the beacon side of things.

[00:35] <Tangent> fluffwise, the reason the split's fairly messy is that her soul was already a splintering mess, if that makes sense?
[00:35] <Tangent> Amy's a combination of Amelia's beacon tendencies, her own more compatible personality traits, and the half-forged mess of a soul that's been forming thanks to the above.
